Panan, a human rights activist, and founder of the Young Pride Club has played a crucial role in advancing the fundamental rights of student groups and promoting gender diversity within the campus. She has contributed to addressing the emotional trauma caused by gender-based violence and empowering women and LGBT individuals. Her efforts aim to enable everyone to live normal lives according to their gender and to be accepted equally as human beings in society.
Krongthong Sudprasert
Krongthong Sudprasert is the owner of a bookstore on Nimmanhaemin road called “Ran Lao” (shop of stores). It is a small store with a warm and friendly feeling which has been hidden in Nimmanhaemin area, Chiang Mai for almost 20 years. This place is started with the aims of creating a space to exchange ideas and organize creative activities in field of reading, writing,
music, and other kind of art. A strong intention with a determined heart still hopes that “Ran Lao”
will always be a peaceful place in the age of chaos and able to comfort everyone who comes in every time by “the book”.

As a co-founder of the esteemed Chiangmai Life Architects and Chiangmai Life Construction, Markus has been at the forefront of architectural innovation in advocating for the combination of natural materials, with state-of-the-art engineering knowledge and latest technologies. Moreover, Markus's work extends far beyond the realm of architecture. He is also the co-founder of Panyaden International School that pioneers a new form of education, one that is value-based and instills a love for schooling in children.
Pinyo Puangmali
Asst. prof. Pinyo Puangmali, Ph.D. is currently the head of the Mechanical Engineering department, faculty of Engineering, Chiang Mai University. He has been widely mentioned that he is capable of doing many things, but before he comes to this point, his journey has not been all roses. He was not an engineering student who was good at studies as many people think. Oppositely, he was not outstanding nor seemed to be special. His studies were not that bad or good, and his sports skill had always just gotten by. Her life has never been easy. Since childhood, she has faced numerous obstacles, including problems within her family, with her friends, and others, which led her to feel that there was nothing to live for. However, one day, UNICEF provided hope and took care of her, which made her believe that she could establish her own self-worth. She has been developing herself ever since and has become a person capable of leading others to grow and build self-worth through opportunities she has received from various projects associated with education at Chiang Mai University.
