Blessing Abeng

Branding & Communications Expert

Blessing Abeng is a leading woman and award-winning figure in branding and communications in Africa. At Ingressive for Good, she led the growth of Ingressive For Good from 0 to 250,000 community members, training over 100,000, placing thousands in jobs, and exclusively leading multiple cohorts of women-focused tech training. Blessing also co-founded Disha, a digital tech startup that was acquired by an African Unicorn, Flutterwave. Blessing has also mentored youths in communities like She Leads Africa, Seedstars, African Entrepreneurship Awards, amongst others. Blessing’s influence extends as a thought leader in her field, cultivating a vibrant community of over 50,000 creators from all over the world. She’s an award-winning powerhouse, having achieved remarkable recognition throughout her career, she was recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, as one of the UN 100 Most Influential People of African Descent Under 40, and by YNaija as one of Nigeria’s 100 most powerful youths.

Feranmi Akinbote

Mental Health Advocate

Oluwaferanmi Akinbote is a mental health advocate who is also certified in the area of rational emotive behavioral therapy, she is actively invested in researching the connections between mental health and man's day to day activities. She talks and teach on how to leverage the concept of mental wellness to advance man's endeavors. As part of her mental health advocacy, she hosts a weekly mental health program on radio and also carries out emotional intelligence training for secondary school students and teachers. Part of her work is aimed at promoting humanity in the workspace and helping organizations maximize human capital to achieve organizational goals and productivity.

Funso Doherty

Political Leader

Funso was born in Lagos on 16 June 1968. He grew up in the Yaba area of Lagos on Wakeman Street (now Borno Way). In 1999, Funso was admitted to Harvard Business School and commenced the MBA program, Funso subsequently joined PNC Advisors, the investment management business of the PNC Banking group as a Vice President at its Head Office in Pennsylvania, USA. He returned to Nigeria in 2005, to serve as the Pioneer Managing Director/CEO of ARM Pension Managers which he led from inception to become one of Nigeria’s leading Pension Fund Administrators. Funso recently completed his tenure as Managing Director / CEO of PAL Pensions where he led a nationwide team overseeing the management of over half a trillion naira in Assets. He is a charter holder and co-founding Trustee of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Society Nigeria and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He recently contested as the governorship candidate for ADC in Lagos State, Nigeria

She is the founder of Smart Stewards Financial Advisory Limited, a financial services company that provides financial education, coaching, and advisory services to individuals and businesses, Solala is a passionate advocate for financial literacy and women's empowerment. She is a public speaker and has written several books on personal finance, including "May I Have My Money?", "The Real Profit", and "40 Frugal Rules For Your Journey To Financial Freedom". Sola is a recipient of several awards, including the Women X Scholarship, an initiative of the World Bank and Pan Atlantic University for Female Entrepreneurs. She has also been recognized by The Guardian Nigeria News as one of Nigeria's 100 Most Inspiring Women for the year 2020 and also is an official member of the FORBES Coaches Council

Victor Olufemi

AI Expert

Victor Olufemi is an Ambassador at Zindi Africa. He is a student at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria, where he studies Electronic and Electrical Engineering at the undergraduate level. After over 2 years as a data scientist at Farmz2u, an Agtech startup where he helped build data-centric products for farmers in Subsaharan Africa, he now focuses on building his own startup spending most of his time in spaces centered around Artificial Intelligence, climate change, agriculture, and community building. He's currently ranked 10th out of over 60,000 data scientists on Zindi Africa, making him the highest-ranking undergrad on Zindi and one of the leading professionals in the AI space.
