TEDx is a global movement devoted to bringing ideas with spreading to communities and around the globe to inspire, educate, celebrate local ideas ,shift perspectives and Untimely change lives.

TEDX was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.

At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos - sparks deep conversation and connections.

TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis.

Tai Solarin University of Education is of no doubt a community of blazing talents and enthusiastic young leaders. It is not an arena of empty men, it is a citadel of learning that hosts excellent men who are capable of dominating globally.

We can call this prestigious citadel of learning 'A HOME OF SPROUTING SEEDS' seeds that will emerge into transformational monuments.

However, the beauty of seeds transcend when it is exposed to proper watering and growth fostering ray of the sun, we cannot ignore the ruthless investment of our delectable lecturers, Juggernauts, and mentors, little wonder we have countless products of the school seated with kings and making positive impacts in their respective fields.

The transformation is massive but a lot more lives are still wallowing in gross ignorance due to a lack of access to quality information that can skyrocket them into their excellent expressions, causing them to settle for less.

This hurts our hearts and causes a trigger to put up an event that will illuminate the mind of every member of the community and beyond.

Our theme 'UNEARTH' expresses in one word our goal to help these young minds to discover quality information that will liberate and launch them into excellence and productivity.

We are certain that this event will induce a mind reset and repositioning for members of this community causing them to negotiate for more and be equipped for global dominance.

TEDx TASUED is not just an event, it is a move.
It is an awakening that would cause a positive shake and the emergence of world-class leaders.

Damilola Otubanjo

A fashion mogul and former winner of the maiden edition of Sisi Oge Beauty Pageant in Lagos State, Damilola Otubanjo, has declared interest to run for the House of Representatives seat in Ogun State, ahead of the 2023 general elections. Otubanjo is an indigene of the Ijebu North, Ijebu East, and Ogun Waterside federal constituency and a member of the All Progressives Congress. Declaring her political ambition on Tuesday during a well-attended Town-Hall meeting with residents and executive members of the ruling party in the constituency, she promised better representation at the National Assembly. Before deciding to venture into politics, Damilola has operated both in the Public and Private sectors. She worked with the Lagos State Government under the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and then proceeded to Head the Department of Solar in the Lagos State Electricity Board, where she was in charge of all Solar Systems installed in Government Schools and Primary Healthcare Centre across the State. Her contribution towards the success of the project earned her recognition from top government functionaries that commended MILOLAR for the ingenuity she brought on board. And these facilities over the years helped to boost education and healthcare services in Lagos. She bags a first degree in Physics with Electronics from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, and a 2nd degree in Renewable Energy Engineering from Kingston University in London, United Kingdom. “I have tall dreams and I want to see them fulfilled she added’. Never doubt that small thought, divinely inspired, pursue, and fed can change the world, indeed it’s the only thing that ever has,” she said.

Daniel Osineye

Daniel is the Founder and CTO at Evolve Credit. A technology startup developing banking, credit, and financial services infrastructure for emerging markets. Prior to starting Evolve Credit, Daniel worked with organisations such as Imisi 3D Extended Reality Creation Lab, consulted with Riby Finance, and the African Leadership Academy in South Africa. He studied Computer Science/Chemistry Education at the Federal College of Education Akoka, Lagos. He was awarded the Mastercard Foundation Scholarship in 2019 to further study at the American University of Beirut. In 2021, he left school to fully commit to building Evolve Credit. Daniel enjoys playing video games and engages in sporting activities like football and table tennis. He’s a big fan of Science Fiction, emerging technologies especially spatial computing.

Ishola Adebayo

Ishola Adebayo is a certified Trainer/Mentor on the Google Hustle Academy program for the Sub- Saharan Africa region, he has trained well over 10,000 young people [vis-à-vis: students, job seekers, small business owners]. Ishola also serves as the Creative Director of Online Hub Educational Services (a.k.a “OnlineHubNG”), Nigeria’s foremost Digital Content Platform. He is outspoken, well-traveled, passionate, and has experience in creative writing, digital content editing, and empowering African SMEs to grow through digital transformation. Ishola is an educational technologist. He bagged his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics Education, his Masters’ degree in Educational Media and Technology and currently running his Ph.D. program with a research interest in the utilization of Web 2.0 technologies for teaching and learning, all at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun, Ogun State. He is a Lecturer at the Department of Educational Technology at Tai Solarin University of Education. He is happily married and blessed with children. In August 2017, he was among the top 100 nominees for Nigeria’s SME 25under25 awards. In November 2018, he was awarded as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Personality (TOYP) in Ogun State (Scientific and Technological Development category) by JCI Abeokuta. And in November 2019, he was nominated for the Ogun State Youth Awards Prize in Education. Ishola’s work and content have been featured in prominent journals and newspapers like Nigerian Tribune and Daily Independent to mention a few. He has been featured on many radio stations and online TV programs. He is the host of the Citizens Corner radio show in Abeokuta, Ogun State, a program to engage and empower the citizens on good governance.

Oluwatomilola Mustapha

Tomilola is an accomplished marketing professional known for his commitment to excellence and remarkable achievements. With a passion for entrepreneurship and deep expertise in consumer behavior, he leverages new technologies and data to drive sales and deliver exceptional results. As the former COO of Rashak Farms and Agro Allied Limited, Tomilola successfully raised $1.5million for the company, showcasing his ability to navigate the Ag-tech industry. Now focused on Sales and Marketing, he helps businesses make informed decisions and attract paying customers. Tomilola excels in data analysis, using tools like SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI to extract valuable insights. His certificate in Business Intelligence further enhances his analytical abilities. Recognized for his achievements, Tomilola won the global social entrepreneur award and was listed among the top 30 under 30 global change makers by Opportunity Desk. With a bachelor's degree in biology and certifications in Management and Market Research and Consumer Behavior, he possesses a well-rounded education. Through leadership roles in volunteer organizations like Enactus and Hult Prize, Tomilola hones skills in project management and problem-solving. His commitment to excellence and ability to leverage data make him a valuable asset for organizations seeking growth and innovation.

Rapheal Anagbe

Raphael is a graduate of Economics from the Benue State University, Makurdi. He joined Enactus Nigeria in 2009 and there has been over 14 years of service as (Student, Alumni, Volunteer, Programs Officer and Senior Programs Officer). At Enactus Nigeria, Raphael is responsible for the day-to-day program implementation of Enactus Nigeria Programs. He also holds a professional certificate in Non-profit Leadership and Management at the prestigious Lagos Business School – Pan Atlantic University. He is part of the efforts that directly coordinates, train and mentor over 3500 undergraduates’ annually on over 35 tertiary institutions across 30 states in Nigeria.

Segun Onilude

Segun Onilude is a creative Software Developer and Technical Product Specialist, with over 5 years of experience building and overseeing innovative solutions within the Edutech and Fintech sectors. He graduated in the top one percent (1%) of his graduating set from Tai Solarin University in 2021, earning a First Class Honors degree in Computer Science. As an Integration Specialist on Paystack's Developer Relations team, Segun provides software developers and merchants across diverse regions of Africa with a seamless experience while integrating the Paystack suite of services to optimize the payment processes in their businesses. A firm believer in the transformative power of education, Segun is passionate about inspiring young individuals to embrace its efficacy and the positive impact it can have on their lives. He leads The Highflyers Hub, a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing and empowering young people to achieve holistic success in business and academia. He also holds professional certification in Agile Software Development and Technical Product Management (endorsed by Project Management Institute).

Tolani Olawore

She like to think of myself as a full time storyteller. She's obsessed with books, love travelling, volunteer regularly and passionate about social good and technology. Currently, she work at the intersection of tech, content and community. She excel at making mundane subjects exciting and communicating complex ideas in a simple, understandable manner. She love building communities and love the people! Interacting with amazing people from all around the world and she have been able to do some pretty great stuff together. She have been able to meet some really passionate and inspiring people who contribute and give back to the communities they work in, they make community building a fulfilling and worthwhile job. Also, learnt a lot by listening to others share their thoughts and privileged to be in a position to help turn those thoughts into actions. Tolani love what she do as she get to hang out with a lot of tech nerds. She is also very passionate about the environment and this tends to influence the kind of projects she choose to work on.
