In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Antara Nandy is an Indian playback singer from Assam. Her first step towards success was after becoming one of the top three finalists in the music talent and reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs-2009 which was aired on Zee-TV. She was nominated for 'Ramdhenu Viewer’s Choice Awards' in the Best Female Singer category 2013. She received the 'Star Wars Award 2012' conferred by Dream Catchers, Singapore, and the Young Achiever Award in 2014 bestowed by Integrated Council for Socio-Economic Progress, Kolkata. She is also a Scholar at the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training - Govt of India (CCRT). She is the youngest vocalist to perform at the prestigious Durbar Hall, Kolkata. Antara Nandy made her grand playback debut with A.R. Rahman’s soulful number ‘Alaikadal’ in Mani Ratnam’s period drama ‘Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1’ she sang it in four languages- Tamil, Telegu, Hindi, and Kannada.

He is the inventor of 23 US patents in multiple technologies. Dr. Bhooshan has edited/written 12 non-technical books. He is the author of the Marathi best-seller book “Swadesh.” He is a Trustee & faculty at Chanakya Mandal for competitive examinations. He has been a faculty for “Train the Trainers” on soft skills for 189 colleges of the University of Pune. Dr. Bhooshan has been interviewed by ‘All India Radio’, TV channels such as ‘Zee Business’, ‘IBN Lokmat’, and “Vyas Channel” of UGC, and at many public events. Dr. Bhooshan has done column writing on career enhancement and employability. He is the author of books on industry 4.0.

Jelsyna Chacko is a 2020 graduate of our college. She is currently working as a legal journalist with Bar &Bench. She thrives on creating synergies to build communities, experiences, and initiatives that she wishes her 14-year-old self had access to while growing up. She’s a trained spoken word artist and classical dancer. She has previously spoken at prominent platforms like MCCIA and FICCI. She possesses exceptional legal research and presentation skills. Jelsyna is also a mentor to several students across the country. To her, each student comes with their own uniqueness and she ensures to empower them to reflect this uniqueness of their character.

Manas Pimpalkhare is 23 years old and full of hope. He is a student of law, a soon-to-be student of journalism, and is obsessed with the idea of Truth. He keeps a keen interest in politics, both international and domestic, and is fascinated by the human condition of our current times. He has written small articles and essays about these ideas and has also worked as a reporter for some time. Manas wants to leave a peaceful global society behind, and a society that will hopefully be full of cats. He believes that our personalities are curated to follow hate using Orwellian methods and that they cumulatively lead to war and atrocities. "There's one way to prevent everything bad", he says, "Look for the truth. Ask questions. And be nice."

Sohanlal Kundanmal Jain

Adv. Sohanlal Kundanmal Jain, popularly known as Adv. S.K. Jain is a well-respected figure in the fields of advocacy, social work, education, and politics. With over 50 years of experience, he has served as a defense attorney in numerous high-profile cases. He has handled famous cases such as the Nagpur Chaal Liquor Case, Bilquis Banu, and Anna Hazare vs. Sureshdada Jain defamation case. . He has also served as the President of the Khadki Education Society for 37 years and started a primary and secondary school in Khadki during his tenure. He has been the president of Shikshan Prasarak Mandali since 2016 and has been the Director of the JITO Apex twice. Moreover, Adv. Jain was elected as the Vice President of the Pune Bar Association in 1980, making him the youngest Vice President ever to be elected. He has also served as a member of the Maharashtra and Goa Bar Councils twice and as Vice President of the Bar Council during 1990-1991.
