Adrienne Fung is a junior in high school at Milton Academy from Hong Kong. Among other things, she is the cohead of Asian Society, a boarder in Millet House, and a passionate foodie with a deep interest in human stories and culture.

She is a co-author of The Brand IDEA: Managing Nonprofit Brands with Integrity, Democracy and Affinity (Jossey-Bass, 2014).
Kristine Palmero
High School English Teacher
Kristine Palmero, has been an upper school English teacher for twenty years and has served as both English teacher and dorm head at Milton Academy. Ms. Palmero earned both her B.A. in English and Film and her M.A. in English from Middlebury College.
Samantha Berk
Student
Samantha Berk is a senior in high school at Milton Academy where she sits on the student Self Governing Association and the Editorial Board of the Milton Paper, and is a co-head of the Jewish Student Union. She lived in London until she was 11 and currently participates in the Teen Advisory Committee of Boston Children's Hospital.
Sean Burns
Vice President, Disease Biology, Intellia Therapeutics
Dr. Sean Burns is Vice President of the Disease Biology team at Intellia Therapeutics, where he leads the company's efforts to identify novel in vivo applications of CRISPR genome editing to treat genetic disease. In addition, Sean is a practicing endocrinologist affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and Nantucket Cottage Hospital. Before joining Intellia, Sean was a physician-scientist at Mass General and the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and his M.D. with Honors from the New York University School of Medicine. He is a proud member of the Milton Academy Class of 1994.
Tanya Everett
Actor/Playwright
Tanya Everett, Milton ‘02, grew up in Quincy, and moved to New York to attend Columbia. She's thrilled to be revisiting Milton since she spoke last year on the Arts Alumni Panel for Reunion. She was a 2019-20 Playwrights Realm Fellow, and received her MFA for Playwriting from Brooklyn College. Her play, “A Dead Black Man,” was a Finalist for the Dramatist Guild Fellowship in 2019. “And The Gods Walk Among Us” was also named Semi-Finalist for the Princess Grace Award in 2019. Her short play "Thousand Miles," was nominated for a Drama League Award with the AFO Shorts Festival. She worked as a staff writer on the sci-fi show, Moonhaven on AMC+, and sold a pilot to MRC. She is represented by Tim Phillips of UTA, Dan Halstead of Manage-ment. She writes to provoke, excite, and heal.
Valerie Gu
Student
Valerie is a junior in high school from Shanghai, China. She goes to high school at Milton Academy where she leads Milton’s Mock Trial club, serves as a board member for Tang Club and Magus Mabus Art, and is a member of the USA Debate Team.
