In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Bill Chan

Architectural Designer and Entrepreneur

Bill Chan was born in Hong Kong and raised between there and Montreal, Canada. He graduated Master’s of Architecture from the University of Waterloo. He now spends his time with his family between Hong Kong and Zhuhai tending to his properties and hot springs resort that he designs and manages. He’s passionate about educating children to be masters of their environment and plans to build a children’s workshop to teach them to learn by doing.

Celeste is a voracious reader and is often seen with her nose buried in a book, expanding her knowledge and imagination through literature. She has a remarkable talent for storytelling, often creating elaborate and imaginative tales that captivate her peers and adults alike. Her creativity extends beyond storytelling, as she enjoys painting, drawing, and other forms of artistic expression.

Celine Li

Celine is an avid musician who loves performing and creating her own work. Using various instruments (including her voice) as well as numerous forms of technology, she has developed her own unique style. Besides music, Celine enjoys athletics and debating, making her a well-rounded student.

Despite being so young, Emily exhibits a high level of emotional intelligence, showing empathy and compassion for those around her. In addition to her passion for nature, she also possesses a deep curiosity about many other areas of learning, often asking thought-provoking questions about the world around her. To think she only began learning English a few years ago and now she is speaking at TEDx!
