Miller and Angus hope that people would listen to their advice, and that their talk has some sort of impact on the audience. Whether it be "I'm going to go read a new book," or simply that it is a good conversation.

Forest’s interests have shied away from what could be labelled typical Australian interests. Whether it be divulging the inner meaning of existence through philosophy or creating a concrete picture of the mind there’s always something interesting to study for Forest.

His talk focuses on the unconscious pull of branding particularly when we encounter a brand or advertisement in a store, and our unconscious attachment to it. Senith recognizes that it’s critical for individuals to understand how the corporate world works, and how branding might affect the decisions we make at checkout.
