In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anu Peddada

Anu is a junior at Stevenson High School (class of 2024). She has been fascinated with computers and technology algorithms since a young age and has developed a passion for computer systems and AI. She hopes to share her passion and perspective on the future of technology.

Edward Han

Edward Han is a junior at Stevenson High School who is heavily involved in public-speaking and advocacy. He strives to make a difference in his community and is passionate about public policy, specifically juvenile justice. Outside of school, he has been fencing for 6 years and loves long-distance biking with his friends in his free time.

Renee Tiwari

Renee is a youth who is immensely passionate about mental health and social justice. She hopes to pursue business and computer science and make a tangible impact in the world! Ted Talks are Renee's way of getting motivation and was inspired to speak on this topic with her own experiences and background.

Richelle Shi

Richelle Shi is a junior at Stevenson High School (class of 2024). Aside from organ donation advocacy, she aspires to bring reproductive healthcare equity to her community through leadership in the PERIOD organization. Additionally, she enjoys playing the piano and performing at various concerts.

Ritu Anand

Ritu Anand is part of the graduating class of 2024. She had studied in India for a majority of her high school career. She has been in Cambridge as well as the international bacculature curriculum. She is currently studying in Adlai E. Stevenson High School and would like to pursue a double major in finance and aerospace engineering at university. She aspires to traverse the financial and spacefaring world with the help of stoicism guiding her every step of the way.

Sanya Mahajan

Sanya is a graduating senior at Stevenson High School (class of 2023). As someone passionate about mental health advocacy, Sanya has started her own podcast called Bamble Ramble and has invited many guest speakers to share their stories and inspire others. Sanya hopes to share her experiences and provide a platform for other teenagers to feel heard, through initiatives like these.
