Adam Kulhánek
Adam Kulhánek graduated from the 1st Medical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and earned a doctorate in addiction treatment. In addition, he also completed an international MBA in leadership. Nowadays he is professionally involved in both directions. As an addictionologist, he lectures at his alma mater and as a trainer he helps presenters enhance their soft skills.
František Mach
František Mach is a mathematical modeller, head of the CIMRA research group, lecturer at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and a top triathlete. His enthusiasm for science was reflected in the competition for Czech scientists VŠEVĚD, where he obtained 2nd place. He founded the startup Nextdrop three years ago, and he is also developing miniature magnetic robots which could represent a big part of our future.
Karolína Krejčová
Karolína Krejčová is the co-founder of the Indians project. Together with Anna Sedláková, they started to break the taboo of infertility and talk about it in public space. Today, their project is still growing, educating, networking and organizing support meetings. Among their biggest achievements is the Social Impact Award 2020.
Martin Pyšný
More than a billion people worldwide suffer from dyslexia. One of them is designer Martin Pyšný, who decided to fight his handicap and despite all the obstacles, got into the prestigious University of The Hague, where he earned a master's degree. His passion is graphic and type design and as part of his bachelor's thesis at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava he laid the foundations for the dysgraphic typeface, "Dysfont". This typeface is designed to facilitate reading and overall work with text.
Pavel Mach
Pavel Mach graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University and founded the company Softech. But since he is also a beekeeper and his bee population has kept growing, he came up with the idea of modernising his hives with the use of artificial intelligence. Afterwards in 2019, he tried to offer beehives equipped with sensors and cameras to the public and today he looks after more than 100 hives across the whole country.
Rosina Kašičková
Rosina Kašičková graduated from the Czech Technical University with a degree in Professional Pilot and Air Transport Operation and Management. For 18 years she has been flying all over the world, whether in the form of parachuting, speedflying, wind tunnel flying, or on airplanes and helicopters. He has piloted a wide range of aircraft from two-seat sport and aerobatic aircraft to the 66-ton Boeing 737. To bring the joy of flying to the public, she founded Extreme 66 Parachute.
Vasil Kostin
Vasil Kostin is studied 3rd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University, gaining various experience during foreign internships (missions), being involved in scientific activities, programming and actively expanding his photographic portfolio. His projects of the last few years have been successful not only in the hackathon environment, from the Smart Triage app, to NephroSense, to one of the biggest successes and contributions to date - the Wrest smart pad, which addresses the increasingly common carpal tunnel disease.
Vojtěch Hlaváček
Vojta Hlaváček together with Kryštof Jarmar started the Brain We Are podcast about the mind and the brain in 2018. Since then, they have gained over 3.5 million listens! Vojtěch studied neuroscience at Charles University and is also interested in psychology, sociology, Eastern philosophy and biohacking.
