These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr.Tasneem initiated her career three decades ago as a clinician involved in direct service provision in addiction and HIV/AIDS progressing to a wide array of issues on social change and human development. On the one hand, she led large implementation projects on ground across India and has also worked in philanthropy substantially. Collaborating with government and non-government organizations has been an important part of her professional roles. Tasneem held leadership positions and was the Lead for Mental Health at Tata Trusts, where she led the development and implementation of innovative and scaled programs spanning the continuum of mental health care in the district of Nagpur in Maharashtra. She has a PhD from the University of Warwick. Tasneem currently heads Mental health programs for Indira Foundation- a philanthropic foundation that works in India and USA.

Ishan Guar Das holds a B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surat. His life changed when he met devotees of ISKCON during his college days. Soon thereafter, he began his journey of practicing and preaching spirituality to all. He ministers by travelling to different cities to pass on the divine message of Bhagavad Gita with the youths in a relatable manner. He also conducts seminars on topics like de-addiction, Power of youth, Time management, stress management, practical application of Srimad Bhagavad Gita , Mind Power in various colleges. His Grace also leads the Traveling Sankirtan Party, a group of 25 monks ,who travels to India’s nooks and corners to preach Spirituality and tranquility.

Mr. Arun Mahesh Babu is the Collector and District Magistrate of Rajkot for the past 1.5 years. He has previously served as DFO in several districts of Odisha, as Assistant Collector of Junagadh and Mehsana for over 3.5 years, and as District Development Officer of Ahmedabad for 3.5 years. Hailing from the scenic hills of Munnar and being educated with values provided by the Tata group,Presently, he heads several projects in Rajkot, some of which are Hirasar international airport, AIIMS, Rajkot, AMUL, Science City, and Janana 500 bedded hospital. Having gained experience in project management and strategic planning and international exposure to the implementation of development programmes, he hopes to work for the benefit of the poor and society at large, which is the mission of his life. Mr Jay Chhaniyara is an Indian stand-up comedian. He has been a performer since the age of six. Mr Jay has seven world records ( Limca Book , Asia Book ) to his name, including the title of being "India's Youngest Disabled Comedian". Diagnosed with Cerebral palsy at birth and having 80 percent disability did not stop him from performing almost 1500 shows, some of which were across 5 countries abroad.
