DAIS Class of 2008 alumnus Aditya Jhaveri is a serial entrepreneur with 12 years experience in building businesses across industries. Currently, he is a pioneer in creating technology infrastructure for Real Estate and is the Founder and CEO of Blox - India's first and only home buying platform that is fully integrated with technology. He was previously a first-generation Real Estate developer with multiple projects under his name and he holds a degree in International Relations & History from The London School of Economics.
Ahaan Jindal

17 year-old Ahaan Jindal is currently in Grade 12, pursuing the IB Diploma programme at DAIS. Ahaan is an avid follower of several sports including cricket, Formula 1, basketball, tennis and Football. He is also an experienced MUN-er and is planning to pursue a degree in International Relations. Recently, he combined his interests in sports and foreign relations to explore how sport has helped open diplomatic channels between nations and promoted social and cultural movements around the world.
Arzan Khambatta
Sculptor, Architect
Mr. Arzan Khambatta is an architect / sculptor who found his love for sculpting at a young age. Since graduating with a Bachelors in Architecture from the Rachna Sansad Academy of Architecture in Mumbai, he has been creating sculptural masterpieces for the last three decades. He specializes in using his creativity to reuse and reimagine scrap found in junkyards, inspired by the tradition of other local sculptors.
Julian Vera Aguilar
Teacher
Mr. Julian Vera Aguilar has been a Spanish teacher in India for the past seven years and is a beloved member of our school’s faculty. He was born and raised in Mexico and moved to India for his further education in 2008. He did a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mathematics from St. Stephen's College and an M.A. in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language from UNIR, Spain. He is an avid reader and is passionate about understanding different communities, especially Hispanic and Indian cultures.
Rehan Poncha
Olympian and National Champion in Swimming
Mr. Rehan Poncha has represented India in swimming at the most prestigious championships including the Beijing Olympics, Commonwealth Games and the Asian Games. He is a recipient of the honorable Arjuna Award and the Eklavya Award, and is an eight-time national champion. Currently, he is a mentor at the Indian Collegiate Athletic Program and has also started his own academy called SwimSmart with Rehan Poncha to train competitive swimmers and give back to a sport that means a lot to him.
Sujata Sahu
Education reformist
Mrs. Sujata Sahu is the Founder and Director of the 17,000 ft. Foundation, an NGO that works to improve education access in the mountainous regions of Ladakh and Sikkim. Having previously led the technology systems at various firms, Mrs. Sahu left her corporate career to pursue her passion of working with children. Today, her organization has impacted over 50,000 students in 1,000+ government schools by providing libraries, playgrounds and DigiLabs. She was awarded the Nari Shakti Puraskar and the Women Transforming India Award for her contribution to the community.
Vasundhara Kaul
Mental health and well-being expert
Mrs. Vasundhara Kaul is an expert trainer, mental health practitioner and well-being coach with over 16 years of experience in the field. She is currently pursuing her PhD at Mumbai University and is the founder of Capediem EdPsych Consultancy, a female-led organization that aims to destigmatize mental health and promote well-being. She is also an M.Ed. Gold Medalist and holds an M.B.A. in Marketing & Finance. She is passionate about empowering people to communicate better, be future skill-ready, and become life-long learners.
