Theme: The Citadel

“TEDx HUS 2022: The Citadel” is inspired by the famous book which have the same title - “The Citadel” by Archibald Joseph Cronin.

The world has entered a new era, the definition of happiness, affluence and success has been much different from the previous generation. However, there are still "citadels" that are conservative and outdated views. At the same time, there are "citadels" of limits and life values that each person builds for his or their own life. Some people build "citadels" because of past trauma or because they are afraid of the future, but then they are bound by those "citadels" to develop and limit themselves. Besides, those "citadels" can also be the ideal and life value that each person is pursuing and worrying about, should it be demolished or built to be more solid?

Finally, “TEDx HUS 2022: The Citadel” raises the question, how can people step out of their comfort zones to pursue greater aspirations while keeping the ideal of life unshakable in the face of social reality?
