In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Rina Tanaka

Graduate student at School of International and Public Policy, Hitotsubashi University, Japan, studying International Politics, mainly Japanese diplomacy. Deputy Secretary General and Chief executive officer of Policy Proposal Department of the Japan Youth Platform for Sustainability.

Born in 1997. Graduated from Tsuda University, Japan with a BA degree in International and Cultural Relations. The thesis was about how the youth of traditional Korean residents in Japan choose their nationality or legal status. Joined the platform as a secretariat in 2022 and participated and gave a statement as a youth representative in the North-East Asia Multistakeholder Forum on Sustainable Development Goals hosted by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific.

エスムラルダ

ライター、脚本家、ドラァグクイーン、歌手

1972年生まれ。一橋大学社会学部卒。94年よりドラァグクイーンとしての活動を始め、各種イベント、メディア、舞台、講演会等に出演し、2018年にはドラァグクイーン・ディーヴァ・ユニット「八方不美人」のメンバーとして歌手デビュー。ライター、脚本家としても活動しており、12年に第12回テレビ朝日21世紀新人シナリオ大賞優秀賞受賞、16年に東宝ミュージカル「プリシラ」の翻訳台本担当。近著に『ロジカルメモ』（アスコム刊）。

晋一郎 熊谷

東京大学先端科学技術研究センター准教授、小児科医。東京大学バリアフリー支援室長、日本発達神経科学学会理事、障害学会理事、日本学術会議連携会員、内閣府障害者政策委員会委員

新生児仮死の後遺症で、脳性マヒに。以後車いす生活となる。東京大学医学部医学科卒業後、千葉西病院小児科、埼玉医科大学小児心臓科での勤務、東京大学大学院医学系研究科博士課程での研究生活を経て、現職。専門は小児科学、当事者研究。主な著作に、「リハビリの夜」（医学書院、2009年）、「発達障害当事者研究」（共著、医学書院、2008年）、「つながりの作法」（共著、NHK出版、2010年）、「みんなの当事者研究」（編著、金剛出版、2017年）、「当事者研究と専門知」（編著、金剛出版、2018年）、「当事者研究をはじめよう」（編著、金剛出版、2019年）、「当事者研究」（岩波書店、2020年）、「＜責任＞の生成」（共著、新曜社、2020年）など
