Douglas Yeo
Tham Luang Cave Rescuer & Diver
In June and July 2018, a Thai junior football team and their assistant coach were rescued in Chiang Rai Province in northern Thailand. Dubbed as one of the most complicated cave rescue missions to date, the Tham Luang Cave Rescue Mission involved around 1,000 divers and about 20 medics. Douglas Yeo, the only Singaporean diver who has taken part in the multinational rescue, was no exception. He also came a long way before becoming the hero he is today.
Douglas Yeo has also written two books to share his inspirations and knowledge rooted from the Tham Luang Cave Rescue. The first book is titled ‘Zero Visibility,’ while the second “The Call of the Heart.” He now hopes to help more people in learning to read while inspiring youths with his stories of being Almost. There. in giving back to society.

Yik Keat Lee
Photographer
From shooting on an iPhone 4 to amassing over a million Instagram followers, Yik Keat (YK) has come a long way as a self-taught Singaporean photographer.
In contrast to other creators who charted their paths in school, YK did not have a creative background. Instead, he was an Aerospace student with no photography experience, and his foray into photography was primarily sparked by curiosity and the advent of Instagram. Despite the challenges that he went through, his interest resulted in gradual recognition both locally and abroad. His passion and outstanding skills in photography are evident in his extraordinary work, which has landed him in collaborations with established brands like Burberry and Mediacorp. Yik Keat offers one-minute photography lessons on social media platforms to impart and share his knowledge. It is therefore through his dedication that makes him one of the most inspiring individuals that youths in our community look up to today.
