Before this, I worked as the Taiwan Ecosystem Ambassador for Startup Genome and the assistant CEO at BioHub Taiwan for two years. Konrad Young has been in the semiconductor industry for 32+ years since his Ph.D. degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1986. He was born and grew up in Taiwan.
Since his retirement in June 2018 from TSMC, a world-leading foundry company, he became an angel investor and management consultant to several Taiwanese start-up companies and had served as an independent board member in two public companies.
He also serves as an adjunct professor at the National Taiwan University and at the National Cheng-Chi University International MBA program since 2020. He is also a chair professor of Innovation program and Electrical Engineering department at the Feng-Chia University.
He considers himself as a “Human Ecologist”. His recent interest is to develop the next-generation Taiwanese talents to fulfill their dreams.
