Theme: Unity in Diversity

This year's TEDx theme is "Unity in Diversity," as each speaker has a different topic; however, they are all 'united' together as they share one mission to provide their bright ideas to the public. The topics range from writing, technology, and health, to life advice.

Harold Woolery

I-Shou University Undergraduate Student in General Medicine

Harold, best known as "Sammy," is an undergraduate international student from Belize. He is in his third year of general medicine at I-Shou University. Additionally, he has a bachelor's degree in Biology from my Alma mater University in Belize. His TEDx title speech is "Betel Nut: the king of the Asian Fruits."

Leung Man Chak

I-Shou University Undergraduate Student in International Tourism and Hospitality

Adrian is an international student from Hong Kong and a senior at I-Shou University. In 2020, he was the president of the International Tourism and Hospitality (ITH) association. He lately has become a researcher waiting for two papers to be published in two different journals! His TEDx title speech is "Creativity and Innovation: How much do you know about VR conferences?"

Paul Talley

I-Shou University Assistant Professor in Applied English Department

Paul is an assistant professor at I-Shou University. He has achieved more than 50 academic publications! Paul has a Ph.D. in English as a second language for National Kaohsiung Normal University. In addition, he has over 20 years of residency in Taiwan. His TEDx title speech is "It was a dark and stormy night: Fear fear of Writing!"

Vivian Vu

Vivian is an international student from Vietnam pursuing her master's degree at I-Shou University. Vivian graduated with honors with a GPA of 4.0, being the graduate representative of the International Business Administration class of 2022. Her TEDx title speech is "Stop trying to follow your dreams."
