Fiona Rogers

Parasol Foundation Curator of Women in Photography for V&A Museum

Fiona Rogers is the inaugural Parasol Foundation Curator of Women in Photography at the V&A. She was previously Director of Photography & Operations for Webber, a photographic agency and gallery with offices in London, New York, and Los Angeles. Prior to Webber she worked for Magnum Photos in a variety of roles, rising to Chief Operations Officer where she was responsible for running the agency and designing and implementing strategies in collaboration with the CEO. In 2011 Fiona created Firecracker, a digital platform and network to champion female photographers. In 2012 Firecracker launched a Photographic Grant and has since awarded £20,000 in funding to female artists. In 2017, Fiona published Firecrackers: Female Photographers Now (Thames & Hudson) with co-author Max Houghton.

Frances and her expert partners help public, private, non-profit, and start-ups thrive and grow through digital inclusion and purpose-driven innovation strategy. Frances has 30+ years of global business management, technology sales, emerging market development and organisational leadership experience. She held numerous executive positions, including being IBM’s first Chief Accessibility Officer where she managed a global team from IBM Research to establish IT accessibility standards, shape government policies, and develop human first enterprise technology and solutions enabling all people to reach their highest potential, regardless of their age or ability.

Khanyisile Mbongwa

Chief Curator Stellenbosch Triennale Curator Liverpool Biennial 2023

South African curator Khanyisile Mbongwa is an award-winning artist and sociologist who uses the creative to instigate spaces for emancipatory practices, joy and play. She has been chosen to organise the 12th Liverpool Biennial, marking the event’s 25th anniversary next year. Working internationally, Mbongwa has won a host of awards including MTN New Contemporary award and the Artists In Residency Laurate in Spain. She has also taken up curatorial research residencies in Cologne and was a special guest at the Liste Art Fair in Basel. A renowned practical curator and much-sought after academic, Mbongwa has shared her expertise as a guest lecturer at the University of Cape Town, Durban University of Technology, the Universities of Zurich, Basel and Rhodes and has been an ad-hoc lecturer at the Cape Town Creative Academy.
