Theme: TO BE OR NOT TO BE

One often has to have an inner monologue pertaining to some of the boldest yet uncertain questions in ones life. It is one's indecision that leaves them struggling with inescapable situations - a state of being versus a state of not being.

"TO BE OR NOT TO BE", our theme for the present edition of TEDxABESEC, delves into the ideas of existentialism, scepticism, and self-worth. This theme represents the tipping of the scales when we weigh our options. One is always heavier than the other. A man is not usually able to make up his mind. As a result of which, he becomes better at thinking about doing things than actually doing them.

Taking action is scary, it's like jumping in cold water, you can't really predict what will happen. But that's where our growth lies, that's where one separates himself from the crowd. It isn't the destination that matters as much as the journey. We wish to embellish this theme with determination, decisiveness and critical thinking.

Lata Tondon is as passionate about cooking as her persona. Our speaker for TEDxABESEC 2022 - none other than Love Babbar, is here to answer all these questions. Known for his content on placement preparation, interviews, and programming, Love Babbar is a well-known name among coding enthusiasts. A graduate of NSUT Delhi, he was recommended to join the army. He has worked as a Software Engineer at Amazon, Microsoft and has also completed the Google students challenge internship. All the technology enthusiasts, be ready to have the world of code and algorithms demystified.

NN Dubey led the encounter of the 2003 parliament attack mastermind Gazi Baba. In front of his unwavering spirit, rock-solid grit, and unparalleled determination, even grievous injuries from bullet wounds could not do a thing. He is an everlasting testimony of true courage and giving your life towards something much greater than yourselves. He was awarded Kirti Chakra for his selfless service. Suyash Keshari

Wildife Presenter, Filmmaker and Conservationist

"It is vital for people to feel attached to wildlife; only then will they care." A 25-year-old wildlife presenter, filmmaker, and conservationist from the heart of India, Madhya Pradesh, we present our speaker, Suyash Keshari, who finds solace in nature and warmth in wildlife. Suyash is a graduate in Politics & International Affairs with Journalism and Entrepreneurship from Wake Forest University, North Carolina. From quitting his job at the age of 23 for his love of animals to creating his web show- Safari with Suyash, he has put his focus on directing the world's attention to the pertinent issues faced by the wildlife in a way that is both engaging and heart-wrenching. Suyash is also an award-winning wildlife photographer. At the age of 19, he became one of the youngest people to win the Nature’s Best Photography Asia Award for a photograph of a six-month-old tigress. So, brace yourselves to walk into nature with him on 12th November 2022.
