At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anvesha is currently a high school senior at Dikshant International School who is extremely passionate about her community. From single handedly running Samsara Foundation, her NGO, to volunteering with the Red Cross, she wants to bring about real change. Recently, as president of HOPE club her team along with Anvesha launched project ‘Accessible India’ where they surveyed 80+ public places and campaigned for the Government to bring back inclusive building code. Dr. Himanshu Bajpai is a leading dastango of the country. He has performed more than 300 shows in several countries viz. Singapore, UAE, Turkey etc. Moreover, he has been honoured by the Hon'ble President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind for storytelling. Himanshu’s qissagoi on Rani Durgavati was appreciated by PM Modi in Mann ki Baat. Shri Rajnath Singh applauded him for the same. Manjari Chaturvedi, the leading exponent of classical dance in India for the last 25 years, is an unusual dancer, she has blazed her own path, that no one traversed earlier, in the field of performing arts with her work on spirituality and dance. She has taken the traditional form of Kathak and has created her own style, her own brand of dance Sufi Kathak. Manjari has extensively worked on gender sensitive subjects through her medium of dance, exploring the many traditions woven into poetry, music and dance. She relives traditions in a modern context, at times reliving an era that has been lost to time and creating that ecstatic dance of mystical surrender. A danseuse representing Lucknow gharana of Kathak and postgraduate in Environmental Sciences, Manjari embodies her performance art bridging the gap between tradition and modernity.

Megha Parmar

Megha Parmar belongs to a tiny village of Bhoj Nagar in Madhya Pradesh. She was the first woman from the state to scale Mount Everest in 2019. Megha has also set a new world record for technical scuba diving by diving to a depth of 147 feet (45 meters). She claims to be the first woman in the world to climb Mount Everest and dive to a depth of 45 meters in technical scuba diving at the same time. Megha is actively involved in working for the welfare of society. She trained a transgender to achieve her goal and is also the brand ambassador of Beti Bachao, Beti Parhao campaign in Madhya Pradesh. She trains girls belonging to lower-middle-class families to learn the art of mountaineering. And that’s not all, she also takes them along with her to global destinations, where they can get the opportunity to summit international peaks. She hopes to climb the highest peaks of all 7 continents in the world.

Prof. Rohan Dutta

Dr. Rohan is an Associate Professor for the B.Tech. program at the Anant School of Climate Action. He received a B.Tech.(H) in Instrumentation Engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, India, in 2003 and a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, in 2014. All of his research and academics revolve around developing low-Carbon technologies for the mitigation of climate change. As an active researcher in the domain of low-Carbon technologies, he has contributed in the fields including Waste to Power, Fossil Fuel-based Power Plant and methods for CO2 capture from them, and Cryogenic/Thermal Energy Storage and published several research articles in journals and conferences and in form of technical reports, etc. He is also an innovator with two patent applications filed based on his works on Thermal Energy Storage and Cryogenic systems.

Yogita Bhayana is a leading member of various expert panels and bodies including Interviewing Anganwadi Workers Across Delhi & NCR, Expert Committee on Gender and Education, National Commission for Women. She received the prestigious 2012 Award for Contribution to Society by National Commission for Women. She also founded and ran night shelters for 200 people in Delhi and supported many rape survivors successfully launching various innovative social programs. She has initiated and spearheaded the protest and campaign to change the juvenile justice law age limit for rapists from 18 to 16 years following the Nirbhaya rape and murder. She convinced Nirbhaya's family to join the cause which gave the campaign national prominence and media coverage. The Rajya Sabha passed the bill in 2016.
