In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

In April 2020, he became the General Manager of the Corporate Strategy Division, which includes the Public Relations Office.

Kenji Morimoto

Miki Yoshizumi

立命館大学 食マネジメント学部教授 / Professor, College of Gastronomy Management, Ritsumeikan University

京都大学大学院地球環境学舎地球益経済論博士課程修了（地球環境学博士）。2018年4月～2019年3月、立命館大学食マネジメント学部准教授、2019年4月より現職。食と持続可能性、食資源を活用した持続可能な地域づくり、ESD（持続可能な開発のための教育：Education for Sustainable Development）による地域リーダー人材育成をテーマに、国内外のフィールドで地域の様々な方達と連携しながら研究を行っている。 Miki Yoshizumi has her PhD in Earth Environmental Economics from the Graduate School of Global Environmental Studies at Kyoto University. From April 2018 to March 2019, she was an associate professor at the College of Gastronomy Management at Ritsumeikan University, and has been in her current position since April 2019. She conducts research in collaboration with various people in the region, both domestically and internationally, on themes such as food and sustainability, sustainable regional development utilizing food resources, and developing regional leaders through Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).

Wataru Chan

日本初の母子漫才師「ワタル with オカン」結成。吉本の養成所NSC在学中に「ワッハ上方アマチュア演芸コンクール 審査員特別賞」「新人お笑い尼崎大賞 奨励賞」を受賞し、新聞、雑誌、テレビなどで取り上げられる。「M-1グランプリ 3回戦(準々決勝)」に進出する。 2021年 音声SNS「Clubhouse」で、日本初のClubhouse漫才をする。 2022年 「スター講師誕生!」に出場、優勝。 現在は、オカンから教わったことをたくさんの人たちに広めて、日本中に笑顔を増やしている。 “Wataru with Okan”(means “mother” in Kansai dialect), the first mother-son comedy duo in Japan, was formed during their time at Yoshimoto's Comedy school called NSC. They won the "Wahha Kansai Amateur Entertainer Contest Special Jury Prize" and the "Newcomer Amagasaki Award Encouragement Prize" and were featured in newspapers, magazines, and TV shows. They advanced to the third round (quarterfinals) of the "M-1 Grand Prix". In 2021, they performed the first-ever Clubhouse comedy on the audio-based social media app, Clubhouse. In 2022, they participated in "Star Ko-shi Tanjo!"(the birth of comedy teacher!) and won the competition. They are currently spreading what they learned from Okan to many people, increasing smiles throughout Japan.
