Theme: (UN)KNOWING

The theme for our event is ‘(Un)knowing’, which is meant to bring to the fore the innumerable struggles, repeated failures, minor achievements, inexhaustible patience, and through it all, steadfastness of purpose that goes behind creating anything meaningful and sustainable. In this era where information can be accessed instantaneously, we want to remind people that everything is not as it seems and there is nothing known as overnight success.

Abhay Mangaldas

Abhay Mangaldas is the owner and operator of The House of MG, an urban heritage hotel in Ahmedabad. In addition to being the Managing Trustee of the Shreyas Foundation, an educational institution for children in Ahmedabad, he is the Convener of the Ahmedabad Chapter - Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage - INTACH. Не holds a Master of Science in Computer Graphics and a Master of Science in Mass Communication with a concentration in Computer Graphics

Amitabh Shah

Amitabh Shah is the Founder and Chief Inspiration Officer (CIO) of YUVA Unstoppable, and a well-known Motivation Speaker in India. After his MBA from Yale, he is a celebrated inspirational speaker on kindness, Gratitude, and the Power of self–belief and has been winning hearts with his presence at Ted Talks, Yale, Wharton, YPO/WPO Forums, United Way’s Million Dollar Roundtable, amongst others. Having transformed sanitation, environment, education, and digital literacy in 1600 less privileged schools now, Amitabh shah is not going to stop till he transforms 10,000 schools and 6M kids by 2029 for the less privileged and provide better hope & dignity to millions.

Anand Narayan

Anand Narayan was the Chief Digital Officer (designated Managing Director) at True North, a private equity player with an India focus. He worked with the investee companies in driving their digital agenda. Anand drove the formation of an Analytics greenfield startup, Actify Data Labs. Anand has been on the Board of Actify until its recent disinvestment which was also guided by him. Anand is also a member of a Product Advisory Board for an RPA solutions provider. Anand was a Vice President with IBM India. Anand led the Industrial Sector (Asia Pacific), Industry Solution Sales Team and the Strategic Initiatives team, focusing on long-term engagements with clients over his tenure. Anand has also led the Industrial Sector in IBM GBS for India and South Asia. The Industrial sector spans Chemical & Petroleum, Automotive, Electronics, Industrial Products and Aerospace & Defense. He has over 25 years of experience working with various organizations in initiatives ranging from Digital programs, Analytics, Process Consulting, ERP deployment, IT Applications Implementations and Application Management Services. He has been associated with multiple engagements in diverse sectors with a range of technology and with a variety of engagement constructs. Anand is an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and has done his Master's in Computer Applications from VJTI.

Canna Patel

Canna Patel is an architect & an interior designer with a professional career spanning more than 3 decades. She did her bachelor's in Architecture from CEPT University, Ahmedabad & further went on to attain a Master's in Architecture from UC Berkley in 1989! Though she is an architect by education, at a very early stage in her career she shifted her focus towards Interior Design. In the past 32 years, she has worked on several projects of different scales and variety and has recently been appointed as the interior sub-consultant for the prestigious Central Vista Project in New Delhi.

Jayanti Ravi

Dr. Jayanti Ravi is a scientist, civil servant, performing vocalist, administrator, thinker, and changemaker. With a master’s degree in nuclear physics from the University of Madras, an MPA from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in e-governance, she has authored books, published in international journals, guided doctoral students, and also been a visiting faculty at Harvard University. As principal secretary and commissioner, rural development, in Gujarat, she has championed the Swachh Bharat Mission for rural sanitation in the state. Her innovative and creative multidisciplinary approach to problem-solving has led to major transformational outcomes across various sectors.

Roy de Souza

Roy de Souza is a tech and biotech entrepreneur. He holds an MBA from The Kellogg School of Management and a Master's degree in engineering from the University of Oxford. He is the founder of a company that aims to treat cancer and also prevent patients at high risk from developing cancer. The company, called BreakBio, is a pioneer of personalized medicine. It brings together an end-to-end platform, data scientists, immunologists, and immunotherapists under one roof to cure cancer. The therapy takes a sample of cancer cells from each patient and analyzes the DNA, RNA and proteins of the cancer cells, and compares them to normal cells. It then designs and manufactures a treatment for that one patient to treat their cancer and hopefully cure them. This same personalized drug design and manufacturing strategy will be extended to patients who don't have cancer but are found to be at high risk because of a genetic mutation such as BRCA. He was also the founder and CEO of ZEDO. It was an advertising technology pioneer. It grew to become the third-largest ad server worldwide. It was acquired by Warner Bros Discovery, the largest media company worldwide owning CNN and many other channels

Varun Kapoor

Varun Kapoor is a successful and famous Bollywood actor from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He has worked in several Indian television series and made his Bollywood film debut in Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is amongst a few successful films that managed to reach the ₹100 crores at the box office in our country. From 2015 to 2016, he portrayed Sanskaar Maheshwari in Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur for which he was awarded Best Actor Male at Golden Petal Awards 2016. After that, he played the role of Dr Veer Malhotra in Savitri Devi College & Hospital on Colors TV. He is an inspiring man with great vision and a role model for those who are looking for a career in acting
