Farzana Chohan

“Understanding the phenomenon of SUBTLE will be the foundation for becoming a Human for Humans,” says Dr. Farzana Chohan, founder, healthcare architect, author, and an award-winning leader. Dr. Farzana’s work in leadership with her lived experiences in corporate and international non-profit has led to the writing of thought-provoking books, ‘Leadership IN Women’ and ‘SUBTLE’. Dr. Farzana is driven to create workplace environments of belonging in diverse professions and industries. She has studied the concepts of leadership, impact of mentoring and believes that we can advance human talent by cultivating the workplace environment of belonging.

Naira Velumyan

As the Founder of the Academy of Social Competency, Dr. Velumyan specializes in the training of self-confidence, communication and relationship building skills for people all over the world. Having certified in Jungian Analytical Psychology, Family System Therapy, Psychodrama, Ericksonian Hypnosis and Psychosomatic Therapy, Naira also provides one-on-one, couples and family psychotherapy. Recently Dr. Velumyan launched the new program for teaching confidence, public speaking and communication skills for teenagers from 9 to 18 years old. Naira Velumyan is a successful entrepreneur with 26-years of experience in business, who believes in the power of collaboration and leadership. As a Founding member of the Immigrant Women in Business Association, and with vast experience in human resources management and anti-crisis counselling, she provides coaching for entrepreneurs in developing successful careers and growing their net-worth.

Neil Gonsalves

Professor

Neil Gonsalves has been a community college professor since 2006, teaching primarily in the area of ethics and diversity with a focus on justice studies. He was nominated for the TVO 2010 Best Lecturer in Ontario award. Neil also works as Director of Strategic Partnerships and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Immigrant Writers Association (IWA), a Non-Profit Organization that provides programs and services supporting immigrant writers on their creative journey. He was formerly the Senior Manager of Staffing and Development for the Toronto branch of a publicly traded security integrator, with over 1,400 employees and 40,000 hours of weekly security contracts. Neil authored a security training manual, which received Federal Government certification for meeting the requirements set forth by the Canadian General Standards Board.

Taras Kulish

Taras Kulish is a bridge builder who helps organizations become all they can be and to belong in their community. As a lawyer who belongs to the Ontario, New York and Quebec Bars, clients from all over the world seek out Taras for sound legal and business advice in English and French. For over 25 years, people and organizations have appreciated Taras' approach since he constantly opens new doors for them. Taras has volunteered with HOPE worldwide Canada since 2000 and at various times served on the Board as President, Country Director, and International Relations Officer. Since March 2015, Taras conceived, created, mentors and spearheads the Helping Hand project which provides Trauma Therapy to children suffering from war trauma as a result of Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. The Helping Hand program trains local psychologists, social workers and art therapists throughout Ukraine and Europe to help the children.
