Celia Cristina Contreras Asturias es académica de la Facultad de Idiomas de la Universidad Veracruzana, en México. Licenciada en Lengua Francesa y Licenciada en Lengua Inglesa. Tiene el grado de Maîtrise Français langue étrangère por la Universidad Stendhal Grenoble III y Maestría en Didáctica del Francés. Cuenta con un Diplomado en ética institucional y liderazgo. Es también Jefa de la comisión internacional de acceso a la movilidad de la Conferencia Regional de Rectores en Latinoamérica. Es responsable de proyectos de francofonía entre la UV y la AUF. Obtuvo el perfil de calidad PROMEP del gobierno de México y el perfil de calidad PRODEP. Es evaluadora de las certificaciones internacionales de francés: DELF/DALF y de español como lengua extranjera. Cuenta con cursos de formación en neurodidáctica y con capacitaciones en Enfoque Neurolingüístico (ENL) provistas por expertos certificados de Canadá.
