In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

The role of a 52-‐year old Professor Jagganath Mahapatra in Two Adorable Losers, earned him a lot of popularity in the Theatre circuit, with a 4‐star rating from Bombay Times. He has directed an performed alongside theatre veterans like Rakesh Bedi, Ananth Mahadevan, Darsheel Safary, to name a few. Besides theatre, Abhishek has starred in television shows on Disney India’s Best of Luck Nikki,The Suite Life of Karan and Kabir, and EPIC Channel’s Yam Kissi Se Kam Nahi as well as in ads for Flipkart.

Aeshna Prasad

Urban Designer, Planner, Strategist | Architect | Systems- Thinker

Aeshna has recently graduated from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design with two masters degrees - a Master of Architecture in Urban Design and a Master of Design Studies, Ecologies ‘22 - both with distinction. She is also the recipient of two prestigious awards - the “Award for Outstanding Leadership in Urban Design” and the “Unsung Hero Prize” 2022. Apart from her professional and academic pursuits, Aeshna has broadened her outlook and perspectives through various leadership positions and extra-curricular activities. In 2020, she co-founded ‘Sahayak’ - a social impact venture focused on developing a locational strategy for skill development, aimed at tackling issues of mass migration while enabling satellite city development in India. After an extremely rich academic experience, Aeshna has recently stepped back into the world of practice, in her role as an urban designer at Sasaki (Boston).

Shreya, after graduating high school from DPS RK Puram, New Delhi, went on to study Computer Engineering at NTU Singapore and then broadened her horizons further by pursuing a MBA, with a double scholarship and distinction, from Cornell University, New York. Professionally, Shreya has worked in a variety of industries including Investment Banking and Management Consulting in Singapore, Big Tech in Silicon Valley, to Fintech and SaaS startups in Mumbai. Association with leading names like JP Morgan, KPMG, Cisco and Y Combinator has provided her a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the business world. Shreya attributes her success to the education she received and is now leveraging that success to give back. She is currently building her own entrepreneurial venture, Abridge Education, with the goal of helping the next generation of students achieve their full potential and reach for the stars, just as she did.
