合唱团 Choir

UiTM 合唱团由来自日本，任教于马拉工艺大学音乐学院的高级讲师 Dr. Masashi Kishimoto 于 2015 年创办，拥有超过五百位就读音乐专业，对音乐充满热忱的团员。他们曾在波兰国际合唱团大赛中为马来西亚挣得三面金牌的荣誉，将东南亚民族歌谣带上了闪亮的国际舞台。UiTM 合唱团透过生动的编曲为观众呈现充满活力且具有民族文化特色的歌曲，借助音乐的力量与听众拉得更近。 UiTM (Universiti Teknologi MARA) Chamber Choir was formed in 2015 by one of the senior lecturers from the UiTM faculty of Music department, Dr. Masashi Kishimoto. The Choir is made up of 500 members consisting of music majors from the faculty of music itself. The winner of three gold medals of Copernicus International Choir Competition and Festival in Poland, the Choir has proudly brought the South East Asian folk songs into the limelight of the international arena. UiTM Chamber Choir will be performing exciting folk songs to audiences in the upcoming conference. The power of music will surely bring people closer together.

丹斯里沈联涛 Tan Sri Andrew Sheng

前中央银行行长兼金融学家

丹斯里沈联涛，国际知名经济学家。他先后在1976年至1989年在马来西亚中央银行任职1989年至1993年在世界银行担任发展部高级经理，1993年至1998年任职香港金融管理局副总裁，1998年至2005年担任证券及期货事务委员会主席，2006年担任中国银行业监督管理委员会首席顾问至今。他在2009年出版了《从亚洲到全球金融危机：一个亚洲监管者对 1990 年代和2000年代不受约束的金融的看法》。他是 2011 年奥斯卡获奖纪录片《监守自盗》的受访嘉宾，并于2013年3月被美国《时代》周刊选为年度“全球百名最具影响力人物”。 Tan Sri Andrew Sheng is an internationally renowned economist. He served at Bank Negara Malaysia from 1976 to 1989, at the World Bank from 1989 to 1993 as Senior Manager of Development, at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority as vice president from 1993 to 1998, and as Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission from 1998 to 2005. He serves as Chief adviser to the China Banking Regulatory Commission Since 2006. He is the author of "From Asia to the Global Financial Crisis: An Asian Regulator's View of Unfettered Finance in the 1990s and 2000s" in 2009. He appeared in the 2011 Oscar-winning documentary film “Inside Job” and was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World by Time magazine in March 2013.

冯宗福，资深网络安全专家。网络安全服务公司 LGMS 创办人兼首席执行员，擅长资讯保安培训和咨询，拥有丰富的理论和实战经验。曾获 2013 年 IDG 颁发的东盟首席信息安全员 (CSO) 和马来西亚网路安全机构年度网络安全专业人士奖项。多年来在网络安全课题上，总是不吝分享自己的知识和经验，传授简单又有效的防范措施，在提升国人的网络安全意识方面贡献良多。 Fong Choong Fook is a veteran Cyber Security expert. As the founder and CEO of cyber security services firm LGMS, Fong’s specialties are in information security, where he provides training and consultation using his vast theoretical and practical experience. Fong is generous in sharing his knowledge and experience with others on the subject of cyber security, and has contributed towards raising the public’s awareness by teaching simple and effective preventative measures. Fong was awarded the 2013 ASEAN Chief Information Security Officer (CSO) of the Year by the International Data Group (IDG), and the 2017 Cyber Security Professional of the Year by CyberSecurity Malaysia.

大马国家队电子竞技教练 Esports coach of Malaysia National team

刘嘉诚，大马国家队电子竞技教练。一次机缘巧合下接触在线战术竞技游戏 (MOBA) 后被启发，毅然走上电竞之路。在赛场表现出彩的他颇受国家队与国际著名教练北村胜宏与陆瑶的认同，完成受训后正式加入国家体育理事会 (MSN) 国家队的电子竞技教练团。他以电竞教练身份带领旗下团队，蝉联本地与国际赛事冠军，并于 2022 年代表国家队征战东南亚运动会。出身建筑系资优生的他，在电竞路上驰骋的过程中，凭借实力与自信，还有熟练的格斗技术、兵法谋略与战术，打破电竞被指认为“伪职业”或“游戏荼毒青年”的刻板印象。 Coach Stanley is the esports coach of Malaysia National team. He was deeply moved by the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) by chance and decided to pursue esports professionally. His outstanding performance was recognized by the national team and world-renowned coaches Kitamura and Lu Yao. Less than a year after completing his training, he joined the national Sports Council (MSN) esports coaching team officially. Under his coaching, his team won various local and international championships consecutively, and he represented the national team at the 2022 SEA Games. With his strength, confidence, grapple skills, strategies and tactics, he has broken the stereotypes of esports as a "pseudo profession" or "harmful towards young people."

手碟与贝斯演奏双人组 HaBa，由两位音乐人李河健与唐勇豪于 2018 年组成。HaBa 的成立旨在探索声音和思想的更多可能性，在每一次的音乐创作中，他们探索并融合不同的材料来进行演奏，希望能借此赋予声音更多元的定义，并找到音乐与宇宙之间的自我平衡。HaBa 曾代表马来西亚参与 Dance in Asia 2019 (印尼) 以及 Dance in Asia 2020 (线上演出)，也曾偕同打击乐团“觉奏感”到中国多个大城市的大学巡演及交流。2022 年，HaBa 与本地雕塑艺术家薛文杰联手展开跨界合作，举办了名为“共声 (Re:sonance)”的现场艺术演绎，用陶作乐器吹奏和敲击出空灵万变的大地之声。 Handpan and bass duet, HaBa, was formed in 2018 by musicians Kent Lee and Thong Yoong How with the purpose of exploring the possibilities of sound and ideas. 李添泉，永续发展环保推动者。在曾任职的 Rip Curl 冲浪运动服品牌参与净滩活动里，看见多得让人眼花缭乱的垃圾后，决定与志同道合的友人联合创办天然健康与美容概念馆 Re{me}dy，并在馆内各处甚至产品成分里，贯彻环保的理念。他希望通过思考、升级改造 (upcycle)、学习等，培养更多有意识的消费者，在他们心中埋下环保和永续发展的种子，并启发他们发现自己的环保潜力，在生活中自然地实践环保。 Jon Lee is passionate about sustainable practices. While participating in a beach cleanup activity with his previous company Rip Curl, he encountered appalling sights of beaches with unimaginable amounts of rubbish. Overcoming his shock and disbelief, Jon went on a soul searching journey which ended up with the co-founding of Re{me}dy, a natural health and skincare store, with his friends. Besides encouraging more people to use natural products, Re{me}dy aims to cultivate Conscious Consumers via three actions: Consider, Upcycle, and Learn. Jon hopes that the store will plant a seed of environmental protection in the hearts of consumers, which would then lead to them discovering their own ways of contributing, and practicing, towards a sustainable, environmental-friendly lifestyle.

洪顺忠，烘焙创业青年。成长于仁嘉隆幸福村一个手工鸡蛋糕飘香的家庭中，他凭借品牌营销的背景和参与圆梦工场创业大赛的经历，致力于和姐姐一起把妈妈的传统手艺发扬光大。同时，他也通过链接在地人，在仁嘉隆新村里探索地方创生和社区营造的可能，积极推动新村经济转型，从传统中再创新价值！ Chili Ang Soon Chong is a baking entrepreneur who grew up amidst the wafting fragrance of his family's bakery in Jenjarom, where they make kuih bahulu. Leveraging on his background in brand marketing and experience participating in the Dream Factory Startup Contest, Ang strives to carry forward his mother’s traditional baking craftsmanship with his sister. At the same time, he also engages in placemaking and community building at Jenjarom, hoping to steer the new village towards an economic transformation that creates value from tradition.

王宁耿，本地巧克力生产公司 Chocolate Concierge 创始人，也是“tree-to-bar” (从可可树到巧克力) 概念的倡导者与先行者。长期在美国生活的他在 2009 年毅然放下从事多年的应用程序开发工作，回到故乡吉隆坡甲洞开启新的事业。回马后，他开始报读并从事与食品相关的各种行业。他发现巧克力具有普遍的吸引力，而且在马来西亚种植的成功率相当高。从走入偏远地区挖掘可可树种植地、培育不同产地的可可树，再将可可豆发酵并加工成巧克力，他不辞劳苦默默耕耘，推动并实践马来西亚单一原产地巧克力。 Ong Ning Geng, the founder of Chocolate Concierge, the advocate and pioneer of the “tree-to-bar” chocolate. In 2009, Ong gave up his career as an app developer in the US and moved back to hometown Kepong in order to take care of his grandmother. Driven by an innate curiosity for flavours and origins, he eventually chose to focus on chocolate for its universal appeal, as well as the fact that it can be grown successfully in Malaysia. Committed to elevating and advancing Malaysian single-origin chocolate, Ong established himself as a high-quality chocolate-bar maker by venture into remote areas in cultivating cacao plants of various origins, before fermenting and processing the beans into chocolate.

田统杰 Stanley Tien

视觉发展治疗师 Optical neurodevelopmental therapist

田统杰，视觉发展治疗师。毕业自英国威尔斯大学验光学系，而后专研视力与神经和行为发展的他，是大马唯一一位获得美国视光发展与视觉治疗委员会 (FCOVD) 认证的视觉发展治疗师。与一般的验光师不同，作为视觉发展治疗师，他擅长分析视觉对日常活动的影响， 再通过对病患的评估、治疗，从而提升功能性视力、改善病患的生活素质。治疗中，他透过创新和趣味的游戏，帮助患有自闭症、唐氏综合症和阅读障碍等的小朋友改善视觉障碍，以提升智力与肌肉功能的发展，是大马人民的视力守护者。 Stanley Tien is a Neuro-Developmental and Behavioral Optometrist. He graduated from the University of Wales, UK, majoring in Optometry, before specializing in vision and neurological behavior development. He is Malaysia's only recipient of the Fellowship of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (FCOVD), a national organization dedicated to vision development and vision therapy. As opposed to a typical optometrist, Tien's role as a visual development therapist involves analyzing and evaluating how vision impacts the daily activity of patients, while providing the necessary treatment to improve their quality of life by raising their functional vision.

薛文杰 James Seet

雕塑艺术家兼创意总监 Sculptor and creative director

薛文杰，雕塑艺术家兼创意总监。在大马陶艺界耕耘 20 余年的他曾多次在国内外举办展览，致力于以艺术实践作为载体，连接社会、影响社会。于他而言，泥象征大地之母，兼具再生和疗愈的含义；2021 年，他成功申请并获得艺术经济发展机构 (CENDANA) 所发放的拨款，因此选择将陶艺与音乐相结合，首创了 20 件极具艺术美感的陶作乐器，以演奏和敲击奏出空灵万变的大地之声，希望借此创举于新冠疫情期间安抚人心并带来新希望。 Sculptor and creative director James Seet has worked in Malaysia's ceramics industry for over 20 years. To him, clay represents mother earth and it carries the meaning of regeneration and healing - hence one can feel the humanistic care and love in his work. In 2021, using the grant he successfully applied from the Cultural Economy Development Agency (CENDANA), Seet combined pottery and music by creating 20 pieces of percussion music instruments out of ceramics, which produced an earthy, ethereal sound. He hopes that his creation is able to comfort and provide a renewed sense of optimism to people during this pandemic.

He believes that many current events and development have a pattern of historical reenactment due to the constant of human nature. Therefore, by using stories from our history to discuss news, Koh polishes the rough dissonance that the public has towards history into news that resonated with all, thus allowing people to learn from them. He is aware that commentary on current affairs can be a double-edged sword; however, while he was sometimes heavily criticized, Koh believes that it is necessary to analyze current issues from different angles to initiate people to think and discuss. 邢益庭 Chiron Yeng

变革型领导教练 Transformational Leadership Coach

邢益庭，心灵治疗师。他于 8 岁突然患上自身免疫性疾病，造成异位性皮肤炎，长期用药的副作用也对他的日常生活造成严重的影响。困扰至 16 岁的他，决定到世界各地探访治疗大师、萨满、变革型领导等人，开始深度探索内心，正面迎战这场疾病。后来以潜意识，与大自然连接等疗法自我疗愈，慢慢奇迹式地康复。他找到了心理困局的出路，也期许能陪伴更多伤病者，理解病痛背后所要表达的讯息。 Chiron Yeng is a spiritual healer who has been providing physio-psycho-spiritual therapies to the wounded. Diagnosed with autoimmune disease at 8 which led to frequently relapsing atopic dermatitis, it has a drastic effect on Chiron’s daily life. At 16, he woke up to the truth that his health is his responsibility and set forth on a journey of self-healing. He sought out master healers and mentors of personal and planetary healing from diverse traditions globally. Finally, he began to gain control through a series of psychology, nature and subconscious therapies, which gradually led to his miraculous recovery at last. Chiron has found the remedy for the psychological dilemma, and he is hoping to accompany more wounded souls in the journey in understanding the message behind their painstaking suffering.

陈爱玲 Spices Tan

东南亚饮食文化工作者 Southeast Asia gastronomist

陈爱玲，香料译述家。来自马来西亚槟城的陈爱玲，成为台湾媳妇后随丈夫到台湾定居。因缘之下，受邀到高雄社区大学开设“吃香喝辣聊东南亚文化”课程，加上思念家的味道，开启了她的辛香料饮食文化寻根之旅。走访到各国香料原乡深入钻研，从马来西亚到印度、中国、坦桑尼亚等地，探访香料，了解各种香料特质，也从中追溯及解读香料民族的原生文化。她把香料复方拆开，堆叠料理的别样风味，以辛香料为媒介，上升至更高的文化层面交流。 Born in Penang, Spices Tan is the spices expert and narrator. She married and settled down in Taiwan. She was invited to Kaohsiung Community College by chance to conduct a course named "Southeast Asian Food Culture: Gastronomy". Her longing for the taste of home has triggered her to embark on the journey to trace the roots of the culture of spicy food. From Malaysia to India, China, Tanzania and other places, she explores and understands the characteristics of various spices, which also enable her to retrieve and interpret the native culture of peoples who cherish spices. Furthermore, by using spices as medium, she elevates spices to a higher level of cultural communication.

培植肉生物技术公司 Avant 联合创办人兼首席执行官 Co-founder and CEO of Avant

陈解颐，香港培植肉生物技术公司 Avant 联合创办人兼首席执行官。她和钱宝生博士于 2018 年共同创立了 Avant，主要研发和生产可用于食品、美妆产品和其他功能性用品的细胞培植鱼蛋白。培植鱼肉除了有助减低碳排放，也减少过度捕捞令海洋资源枯竭和破坏海洋生态。香港培植肉公司 Avant 因此于 2021 年获世界经济论坛 (The World Economic Forum) 评为“技术先锋” (Technology Pioneer)，陈解颐也在 2022 年荣誉彭博 (Bloomberg) 创新经济先行者。 Carrie Chan is the co-founder and CEO of Avant, a cultivated meat company based in Hong Kong. Together with bioentrepreneur Dr. Mario Chin, they founded Avant in 2018, focusing on researching and producing cell-based functional protein which can be incorporated in food, cosmetics and other applications. The resulting product is hence entirely free from radiation, microplastics, heavy metals and other pollutants, while also reducing carbon emission and issues caused by overfishing. Avant was listed as one of the Technology Pioneers by the World Economic Forum in 2021, while Carrie was also featured on the 2022 Bloomberg New Economy Catalyst List.

黄晓斌 Clement Wong

吉隆坡第一所森林学校 KL Steiner School 的创始人 Founder of the first forest school "KL Steiner School" in Kuala Lumpur

黄晓斌，本地资深建筑师，也是吉隆坡第一所森林学校的创始人。他在对人智学颇有研究的妻子身上获得启发，加上从事建筑行业多年积累的经验，他领略到孩子与自然生态系统“对话”的重要性。因此，他参考并借鉴国外流行多年的教育体系——“华德福教育”，在本地吉隆坡开办第一所以全人教育为核心的森林学校，通过想象、创造与体验的方式，提供孩子回归大自然、并从大自然身上学习的机会。 Clement Wong is the local senior architect who is also the founder of the first school with classrooms in the forest in Kuala Lumpur. Inspired by his wife later (a researcher in anthroposophy) coupled with his own rich experience in the construction industry, he realized the importance of "dialogue" between children and the natural ecosystem. Therefore, by referring to and adopting "Waldorf Education / Steiner Education", he started the first school with classrooms in the forest in Kuala Lumpur, emphasizing whole-person education as its core approach. Through imagination, creation and experience, the school aimed at stimulating children's learning in three aspects: willing, feeling and thinking, besides providing children with opportunities to associate with the natural environment while learning from nature.

黄淑惠 Aki Huang

唱作女歌手 Singer-songwriter

黄淑惠，唱作女歌手。中学时期已在海螺民歌餐厅驻唱的她于 2000 年，年仅 19 岁时和音乐伙伴刘美娜以女生双人组合 SukiMina 出道，发行了第一张专辑《两个人》。她在 2017 年带着个人全场做专辑《嘿》再次回归乐坛；随后与吉他手阿陆八 (Gideon Alu8khan Chen) 等音乐人组成 ARVAN 阿尔梵乐团，并发行了首张全创作专辑《我们不是都要沉睡》，作品内容书写着这个社会的躁动与不安。她的作品风格多元，每首作品都是她对生活和心情最真实的叙述。 A prolific singer-songwriter, Aki Huang began her career as the resident singer for Halo café in high school. At 19, she formed the female musical duo SukiMina with her friend Liu Mei Na, and released their first album: The Two People. In 2017, Aki made a comeback with her solo album “Hey”, she later formed the music band ARVAN with guitarist Gideon Alu8khan Chen and other musicians. After that, with social turmoil and insecurity as the theme, ARVAN released their first album named “Awakening”. Aki’s musical styles are described to be without boundaries, mixing and crossing musical genres, but most importantly, all of them are the genuine depiction of her life and feeling.

黄诗韵 Jeslyn Ooi Shiyun

Happy Dumpy 创办人兼设计师 Founder and designer of Happy Dumpy

黄诗韵，Happy Dumpy 创办人兼设计师。她认为，一个好的设计作品不仅限于其美观的外表，还要实用且能帮助使用者解决问题。凭着“创意可以改变世界”的信念，她擅长将设计思维融入日常生活中，创造出设计精巧的礼品。Happy Dumpy 旗下的大马美食造型纪念品系列便是其代表作之一，以此向大众传递更多美食背后的文化故事，同时强调社会文化可持续发展的重要性。 Jeslyn Ooi Shiyun is the founder and designer of Happy Dumpy, a local brand of souvenirs inspired by Malaysian culture. As a child, Ooi has displayed a wealth of talent and creativity, having been involved in painting, music and dance. She described herself as a "creative soul who loves churning out fresh ideas", and believes that a good design should also be able to solve problems for the users. Through her motto "Creativity has the power to change the world", Ooi incorporates design thinking into everyday life to create beautifully designed gift ideas. Happy Dumpy's Malaysian food souvenir series is one of her signature creations, in which she hoped to convey the cultural stories behind Malaysian food while also emphasizing the importance of sustainable social and cultural development.
