Dance Drama
The dance drama is a combination of mime, classical dance, song, and modern dance that is used to depict the conditions of women all over the world. This would lead to a traditional dance style that demonstrates the many roles women can play, including those of mother, carer, teacher, and fierce mother who will put an end to all evil. This is known as a Shakti Swaroop. The following song portrays how things are changing and how women are starting to take on significant roles—it's a new beginning for women. The performance is a modern dance piece with women dressed as astronauts, scientists, soldiers, and other female characters. When women, men, girls, and boys have equal rights, opportunities, and control over their own lives and the growth of society as a whole, gender equality is accomplished. It is an issue of justice.
