Theme: Unleash

In society, there are speakers, who have stories to share and listeners, who benefit from such stories. We, at D.P.S. Faridabad, know many such speakers and our curious students are the listeners!
The school wanted to increase students' interactions with the world around them and acquaint them with brilliant minds who have done so much for this society.
We all already know that TEDx Talks is an extremely potent platform for all to express their values and experiences and there is hardly a bigger, better platform than a TEDx event to fulfill this aim. Thus, began the incredible journey of TEDx greeting D.P.S. Faridabad.

Our theme for this year is 'Unleash'.
This special theme has been chosen not only to Unleash the ideas of all the wonderful personalities at our event but 'Unleash' also describes our goal as a fraternity, that believes in unleashing the creativity and the inner voice of the students; who can make a positive impact in the society and the world around them.
Eric Thomas once said, "You cannot afford to live in potential for the rest of your life; at some point you have to unleash your potential and make a move.

Diksha Bhatia

RJ

Ms. Diksha is a former Rj , stage anchor and a voice over artist of Delhi NCR. She has worked as a leading Radio Jockey of Radio Manav Rachna 107.8 MHz for more than 12 years and also handled the profile of Head programming and Production. She has anchored more than 100 events of high repute for Manav Rachna , Government award functions and various social and corporate events.She has hosted events for dignitaries including the Honourable Defence Minister,Sh. Rajnath Singh,Honourable Union Minister,Smt.Smriti Irani, Former Union Minister, Sh. Ravi Shankar Prasad to name a few. Being an RJ, her passion is to serve the community through her radio shows where she takes up social issues like safety of women, civic matters, sports ,education and health. She was also a part of Doordarshan for 8 years.

Mrinalini Gupta

Environmentalist

Ms. Mrinalini Gupta is the founder of Swatch Sawera and founding partner of Eco Sawera, an organization dedicated to dry waste management. She became one of the 12 dry waste management master trainers appointed by the MCF. Ms. Gupta does not believe in the word impossible . Not only has she spearheaded a change in garbage management in Faridabad but is also also working in remote parts of Himachal and Goa towards a cleaner, greener future.

Nakul Chauhan

Mr. Nakul Chauhan is an alumnus of Delhi Public School, Faridabad. He is a former Basketball professional athlete. He was the first Indian to give tryouts for American NBA G- League in 2013 for team Tulsa 66’ers( Okc Thunder). He attended India’s Men’s Basketball Camp 2012 and represented Haryana and Delhi state in various tournaments. He was crowned Health King India 2021-2022. Currently, he is training national and international athletes, helping them achieve their fullest potential physically, mentally and spiritually.

Samyak Dhawan

Entrepreneur

Dr. Samyak Dhawan is the founder of Indian Vitiligo Association, a non profit organisation that aims at creating general awareness about Vitiligo while making treatment affordable for patients by subsidising costs through its partnered doctors. A physician turned MBA, Dr. Dhawan first hand witnessed the socio-economic disparities in India pertaining to healthcare. He then realized that his true calling was for the masses and entrepreneurship was the way forward. Armed with an MBA in Healthcare Management, he is now working towards alleviating the disease burden associated with Vitiligo in India.

Shalini Kapoor

Founder of YATAN NGO

Ms. Shalini Kapoor is an educationist. She is the director at Career Guru Gurgaon and an International Math Educator. She is the Founder President of YATAN NGO. Yatan is engaged in programs related to women empowerment, child literacy, menstrual hygiene, career guidance and vocational training for the under privileged. She has helped thousands of women and children to find their feet and confidence to move with pride in the society. She is the recipient of Haryana Garima Award, Leadership Icon Award as Best Women Social Worker and 1000 Women Faces of Asia Award . She strongly believes,“ The journey well begun is half done but miles yet to go.”

Sunita Bajaj

Educational consultant, Child development consultant, Guidance counselor

Ms. Sunita Bajaj is a child development consultant and a behavioral - guidance counselor a career spanning over 25 years in the education industry, Ms. Bajaj has worked with industry leaders ,EdTech companies, school heads, teachers, school and college students offering individual and group counselling, teacher capacity building programs and designing curricula for teacher training and pre-primary years. She works passionately with all stake holders to raise awareness about mental health issues and engages multiple levers to help children and their parents to identify, tackle and resolve these issues. Ms.Sunita is committed to health and education, keeping in mind social, emotional, physical and intellectual diversities.

Surbhi Pandey

Ms. Surbhi Pandey is an alumna of Delhi Public School ,Faridabad. She is an empowerment coach , an author and a voice-over artist. She has worked in several television shows and short films as an actor and also had the opportunity of working in the direction team . She is a trained Kathak dancer, theatre artist and a digital creator who loves to spread happiness through her videos. She is also the Founder of Fire To Wire Club under MRM. Presently, she is an ICF Certified Life Coach who is on a mission to help people live an incredible life by being eternally joyful and having a resilient spirit
