A former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations, Vienna and Governor for India of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Vienna and Ambassador to Austria and Slovenia (2000-2004), T.P. Sreenivasan has served in the Indian Foreign Service for 37 years.

Educator

Anuraag is a passionate teacher and an inspiring biologist with a bio-curious personality. He is a besotted nature lover and sustainability enthusiast. His love for sustainability and quest for alternative energy made him win Karnataka State Award for a project in producing biofuel from algae. Anuraag is also certified in molecular cloning. He currently works as a PGT in Biology at SSVM School of Excellence.

Atmihaa M.B

Student

Atmihaa, a grade 11 Student of SSVM School Mettupalayam, is a blooming singer and YouTuber. She was nominated and selected by ISRO for her inspiring essay on "SPACE ASTRONOMY". She served as a joint secretary in the YUVA club and helped the needy. Atmihaa aspires to become an Astronomer to study the origins of the Universe.

Bhuvaneswari Subramani

First woman AWS Hero from India

Bhuvaneswari Subramani, who has more than two decades of experience in the IT industry, is a Director of Software Development at Infor. She is an active global tech speaker and engages with engineering and arts colleges across India to deliver Technical and Motivational talks. She is the first woman AWS Hero from India and featured in AWS Developer Story to inspire more Women In Tech.

Musician

Bhuvaneswari is an accomplished Carnatic musician and music educator. She works at SSVM Institutions.

Hussaina Azgar

Educator

Dr Hussaina Azgar is the principal at SSVM Cambridge Campus. She is a trusted mentor, skilled at collaboration and building relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. A multilingual, fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Arabic and Urdu, she reads books on philosophy in those languages. Her unwavering commitment to nurturing confidence and self-esteem is exemplified by her open lines of communication and welcoming attitude.

Ishani Lauren

Writer / Health Educator

Ishani Lauren Naidu facilitates Ayurveda and Vedanta workshops internationally under the mentorship of her guru, Acharya Shunya. Ishani’s children’s book, ‘The Song at the Heart of the River’, weaves themes of Ayurveda and Vedanta in a nature-based story of finding health and happiness.

Student

Lakshitha, a Grade 10 student from SSVM School of Excellence, is trained in martial arts and combat sports. She has secured several positions in Taekwondo and Kickboxing competitions. She considers the conservation of wildlife an urgent agenda. Her inspiring conservation stories about animal rehabilitation sparked curiosity in many students in her school community. She considers animal research in neuroscience as a career pathway to study ethology and evolution.

Maiyuri Gopinathan

Student

Maiyuri, a Grade 10 student from SSVM Mettupalyam, is a Workshop Ambassador of the 'The Wallet project' that provides an educational platform for middle school girls in developing an entrepreneurial mindset. She actively participates in MUNs (Model United Nations) and strongly advocates global citizenship and youth's mentality in leadership, negotiation, and diplomacy. She aspires to become a scientist and to carry out research work in the field of Quantum Science.

Praveena Manoj

Ms Praveena Manoj, a soulful singer and an educator, is an English educator at SSVM World School | A Cambridge International School. She has been associated with music since she was five years old and completed her Praveen (Masters equivalent) in Hindustani Classical Vocal when she was 18 from Prayag Sangeet Samiti.

Preethi Srinivasan

Motivational speaker

Preethi was the youngest-ever member of the Tamil Nadu Women's Cricket Team and a state gold medallist in swimming. She met with an accident at the age of 18, which left her paralysed below the neck, but she refused to be defeated by circumstance. She chose to look beyond her limitations and embraced her role as an instrument of the divine, becoming the founder of Soulfree, which helps set thousands of souls free. Preethi now seeks to spread love, light and laughter in the world, as she sees this as her purpose in life.

Priya Senthil

Founder of Radiate Positivity Foundation

A passionate speaker and a life coach, she conducts workshops for schools, colleges and corporates. Priya Senthil is the founder of Radiate Positivity Foundation, an NGO with a mission to educate, elevate and empower youth, women and girls in our society.

Rithik Raja

Student

Studying data science at the University of Florida, Rithik is a self-taught programmer and a full-stack developer. Experienced in web3 development, he aims to play a part in the mainstream adoption of blockchain technology. Additionally, he is also an accomplished pianist.

Shamicksha Harish R

Student

Shamicksha, a Grade 9 student from Reeds World School, is a Youtuber and phenomenal multi-lingual singer. She loves pursuing her career in microbiology and understanding animal husbandry and shares her dream of setting up a farm to practice ecological farming. She is a winner of the Wordsworth International level Spelling Bee competition and an eloquent speaker in both English and Tamil.

Shanti Nathan Odayar

Educator

Shanti Nathan Odayar is a teacher at SSVM School of Excellence. She is a postgraduate in commerce from Mumbai University. She chose to be a teacher to kindle change and spark the right blend of innovation and values in young minds, besides deriving immense pride and pleasure in facilitating learning. Shanti is a voracious reader across all genres. She also has a flair for writing poems, stories and articles in English and Hindi.

Shreeya K

Student / Digital Story Teller / Volunteer /Writer

Shreeya, a Grade-11 student of SSVM World School, is a Digital Storyteller who creates impactful stories for children with special needs. She volunteered virtually during the pandemic to support children in the literacy programme. Shreeya is also an environmental enthusiast and works at the grassroots level to raise awareness about sustainability. Her article on ‘Lake preservation’ was published in ‘The Hindu In School’.

Swami Lalitananda

SWAMI LALITANANDA received her B.Sc. in Varying Exceptionalities from Southern Connecticut State University and M.Ed in Special Education for Emotionally Challenged from Florida Atlantic University in the USA. As a Teacher & Student Counsellor for many years, her “Teaching from the Heart” method combined nurturing and discipline, which enabled her students to gradually return to regular classes on a part-time to full-time basis.

Teelothama Nothoo

Formerly a senior lecturer at Curtin Mauritius & TAFE, part-time lecturer at Middlesex University Mauritius, and Chief Teacher of Art &Design at Shanghai Normal University Tianhua College, China, Ms Nothoo is currently a teacher at SSVM World School | A Cambridge International School. Ms Nothoo, a citizen of the island nation of Mauritius, imbibes inspiration from music, sand and the sea.
