Catriona Macleod

Director & Co-owner of Cullen Macleod Lawyers
Catriona Macleod is a director and co-owner of Cullen Macleod Lawyers. Specialising in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, she was named Woman Lawyer of the Year WA in 2021. Before studying law and starting her law firm, Catriona did a first degree in History of Art in England and then travelled for many years including around Australia, working at various jobs as a mural artist, dish pig and breakfast chef. Catriona now holds two first-class honours degrees from England and WA - She has a particular interest in the education and development of the next generation of lawyers, and how the legal profession can best support and develop early career lawyers, and diversity, in the legal profession. She is a past and current board and committee member of various legal, business and arts organisations including, currently, President of the Women Lawyers of WA, committee member of The Piddington Society and board member of the Perth International Cabaret Festival.

Gareth Shanthikumar

Co-founder of MAN UP WA, and life coach
Passionate about making a change for good in this world, Gareth Shanthikumar's goal is to empower those around him to tap into their full potential and encourage lasting impact. Gareth has come to understand that the only way to truly help someone is to make them realise that they themselves are the key to this - and so he is determined to help set an example and support people in their journey to becoming their best self. His current focus is on helping young men grow into healthy men by equipping them with the skills to deal with real life stressors - in an effort to bring more peace, joy and love into the world. He is the Co-Founder of his not-for-profit, MAN UP, as well as a health & wellness coach.

Harrison Reilly

Founder of Wolf Web Designs
As a local student, Harrison founded his website design company, Wolf Web Designs, with the passion of helping small businesses to share their creative ideas with the world and help them stand out from the pack. When he is not designing websites, he enjoys listening to music, playing video games, and helping people in his online communities and forums! He has dedicated many hours to community service and volunteer work throughout high school and university and strives to make an impact in his local community. Having been profoundly deaf his entire life, Harry is eager to share his experiences and insights into the world of deafness, showing that there is much more that meets the eye, or ear, in his case!

Jess Karlsson

CEO of Scouts WA
Jess’s executive leadership & management experience spans across private, commercial and not-for-profit sectors. Over the past 15 years, Jess has managed and led recreation centres, health, community, disability, and youth services, across QLD, NT and WA. During Jess’s 6.5 years at Cahoots, the team of Board, staff and volunteers together transformed the organisation, more than quadrupled in size and continues to evolve and flourish to date. Jess has dedicated her life to positively impacting the lives of young people, and helping keep them safe, whilst providing them with opportunities to live their best life. Jess proudly commenced as CEO at Scouts WA in February 2022, and is now focused on working with all its stakeholders to continue building the brand, community impact, and sustainability of Scouts in WA.

Kate Offer

Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of UWA Law School
Kate Offer is a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Head of School (Learning & Teaching) at the Law School at the University of Western Australia. Her teaching focus is Torts, Evidence and Legal APPtitude (a legal app creation unit) as well as the undergraduate broadening unit, Adulting: Law for Everyday Lives. She publishes in the areas of Evidence, Torts, and Legal Education. She holds the role of Director of Applied Technology at the UWA Law School, a role focusing on the intersection of Law and Technology. Kate has been awarded School, University, national and international teaching awards, including the national Australian Legal Education Awards Excellence in Teaching award in 2022.

Ken Craigie

Entrepreneur
Ken currently co-owns six restaurants in Perth that are consistently ranked amongst the best in their field. After employing over 100 staff, he believes the key to success is to create happiness for employees and customers and support local communities along the way. Prior to all this, he spent over a decade in the Corporate world, however, he was jaded by his career and finally found passion in his work through the most unexpected career change. This changed his definition of success and source of fulfilment in the most beautiful way. He hopes his story may help others find success and fulfilment in what they do for a living too.

Lukas Carey

Coach, teacher, trainer & educator
Dr Lukas Carey completed his Doctorate in Education, working in the field for most of his career as a coach, teacher, trainer, and educator. While filling a role in Australian local government he was charged with and convicted of receiving secret commissions and served time in prison. During and since Lukas’ incarceration, he developed a strong interest in the role that previously incarcerated people have in the development of policy and procedure in the justice system concerned with education, recidivism, and post-release employment. As a current CARE school principal working with young people removed from mainstream schooling, he shares his insightful experiences firsthand with young people. Lukas is also a strong advocate for the importance of Lived Experience in all forms of education and the importance of including the voices and experiences of all.

Sarah Jefferson

Course Coordinator at Edith Cowan University
Dr Sarah Jefferson is a Course Co-Ordinator of the Bachelor of Education (Secondary) at Edith Cowan University. As a highly experienced secondary educator, she prepares pre-service teachers for their entry into the most important profession. Sarah's research focuses on the importance of social support and its impact on adolescents, veteran teachers and broader sectors and translating this into public value. Sarah recognizes the incredible capacity of teenagers and the challenges they face in tests and is passionate about reframing the conversation around this to positive practical coping strategies and supporting their transition to adulthood.

Seva Mozhaev

Content creator
A former Perth school teacher turned full-time content creator and social media consultant, Seva has amassed over 1.2 million online followers, but standing out was never a huge challenge. After all, he is 6ft10. However, height alone was not enough to achieve his goals. Seva is a TikTok expert who has not only used the platform to change his professional life but has also found an outlet redefining how any business can reach its audience in a fun and informative way.

Stian Macshane

Freestyle Rapper
For the last 10 years, Stian Macshane has followed his passion - the art form of freestyle rap. This pursuit and obsession with rhyme have taken him on a journey - from performing to thousands of people alongside some of the world's biggest electronic music DJs at music festivals, to rapping at hundreds of shows nationally, fronting and featuring with live bands, freestyling on commercial radio and hosting events as a comedian. Now, Stian wants to share how he directs the erratic energy that lives in his head through the art form of spontaneous freestyle rap - to find a new brain state, where overclocking and stretching the limits of the flow state can actually create a meditative effect.

Theone Conradie

General Manager of People Capital Consultants
Passionate about helping leaders and organisations adapt to the complex and ever-changing global environment, Theone Conradie, General Manager of People Capital Consultants, has Bachelor's Degrees in both Clinical and Organisational Psychology and an MBA. She is currently completing her doctorate at Curtin University, building on 30 years of practical experience in navigating the complexity of developing leadership capability and resilience. Extensive experience working within and consulting with multinational organisations such as Cadbury Schweppes, General Motors, Ernst and Young, BHP and Rio Tinto, has provided a rich context and understanding of the need for leaders to be aware of how they manage their own and other’s Mental Wellbeing and Safety. Theone is a Professional Certified Coach with the ICF and has facilitated leadership and large-scale transformation projects across industries in Australia, South Africa and Asia, Europe and America.
