Barry Kerzin
Barry Kerzin is an American physician and Buddhist monk. He serves as a personal physician to the 14th Dalai Lama, along with treating people in the local community. He has written Tibetan Buddhist Prescription for Happiness, and with the Dalai Lama and Prof. Tonagawa, Mind and Matter: Dialogue between Two Nobel Laureates. He has also written Nagarjuna’s Wisdom: A Guide to Practice, Compassion-Bridging Practice and Science and No Fear No Death: The Transformative Power of Compassion. Barry is a fellow at the Mind and Life Institute and consults for the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig on compassion training. He is the founder and president of the Altruism in Medicine Institute (AIMI) and the founder and chairman of the Human Values Institute (HVI) in Japan.
Bishop Chantel Wright
Bishop Dr. Chantel R. Wright has a BA degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. Dr. Chantel R. Wright holds a PhD in Theology and serves as a New York State Chaplain. She is a choir director and founder of Pneuma Ministries International. She served as Director of the Girls Choir of Harlem, as well as Minister of Music at the Macedonia Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, New York. Worked as the Artistic Director of the Queens Symphony Orchestra Youth Gospel Choir. She is the founder of NGO Songs of Solomon: An Inspirational Ensemble, Inc. The ensemble has garnered national and international acclaim. Bishop Chantel Wright founded The Songs of Solomon Academy for the Arts – an organization that directly serves New York City students in instrumental and vocal music appreciation. Chantel has also been actively involved in secured detention centers in the New York area and has continued to work with Carnegie Hall’s Musical Connections project for youth in detention centers. Bishop Wright is a part of the Weil Institutes Music Educators Workshop, Founder of the Sight-singing Workshop at SAG/Aftra and is a part of the Metopolitan Opera’s education department. Bishop Wright has been sought out as a choral director and mentor nationally and internationally. She was the choir master for the Harare International Festival of the Arts in Zimbabwe, as well as the Roma Gospel Festival in Italy. Chantel is a mainstay at the Ithaca Gospel Music Festival. She did a series of workshops and a music festival in Bermuda and served at the Fede Gospel Festival in Barcelona, Spain, and at the Gospel Festival in Vigo, Spain. Chantel is a recipient of the New York Times Teachers Who Matters Most Award, The Ebony Ecumenical Ensemble Community Service Award, and the Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Community Service Award and is a member of the Riverside Club for Education. She also works with the Steinhardt School of Music at the New York University.
Deepa Narayan
Deepa Narayan has a PhD in Psychology and Anthropology. Dr. Narayan is the creator and host of "What’s a Man? Masculinity in India" Podcast. She is the author of "Chup: Breaking The Silence About India's Women" and the founder of Chup Circles. She is a TED speaker and her talk focuses on how to support women in leadership. She was the former Senior Adviser at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. and wrote the series Voices of the Poor. She has written 17 books and is the recipient of many awards. Dr. Narayan spent many years living in village communities in Africa, South and East Asia. Her books include: Voices of the Poor, Measuring Empowerment, Empowerment and Poverty Reduction, Moving out of Poverty.
Gary Cohen
Gary Cohen has been a pioneer in the environmental health movement for more than 35 years. He has helped build coalitions and networks globally to address health impacts related to climate change and toxic chemical exposure. Cohen is co-founder and president of Health Care Without Harm, created in 1996 to help transform the health care sector to be environmentally sustainable and support the health and climate resilience of the communities they serve. Since its inception, the nonprofit has grown to lead and partner in groundbreaking initiatives in more than 72 countries. Cohen was awarded the Champion of Change Award for Climate Change and Public Health by the White House. He received a MacArthur Fellowship, a “Genius Grant” from the MacArthur Foundation, and a Skoll Award.
Hope Masike
Hope Masike is one of Zimbabwe's Mbira music custodians.
Hope Masike holds a Degree of Music from the Zimbabwe College of Music in affiliation with Africa University, a Diploma in Fine Art and National Certificates in Applied Art and Design and in Musicology. Currently she is studying for a Master of Philosophy in Art with Arrupe Jesuit University in Harare and also studying French with the Alliance Française de Harare.
Masike's music is a fun-filled hybrid of music styles tied together by her signature sublime Mbira playing, sultry voice, and highly-charged performances. She mostly sings in little-known African languages like her mother tongue, Shona.
Hope Masike draws her inspiration from all things Art and Africa, leaning very heavily on nearly a century of a strong Mbira music legacy but not ignoring the obvious influences from modernity. She has brilliant hopes for the future of Africa and basks in carrying her African culture with her all the time.
Masike has published three studio albums: 'HOPE' (self-released in May 2009); 'MBIRA, LOVE AND CHOCOLATE' (self-released in May 2012) and 'THE EXORCISM OF A SPINSTER' released on London-based label Riverboat. She has also published two poetry anthologies; one in English titled 'Ask Me Again' and an anthology of Shona Erotic Poems called 'Dzevabvazera'.
Besides performing, Masike is a music teacher, offering lessons in Mbira, voice and music. Autobiography documentary 'One Woman and her Mbira'.
Hope Masike is a board member of the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe, and a member of the Zimbabwe Music Rights Association and Zimbabwe Writers' Association.

Rajni Bakshi
Rajni Bakshi is an author, speaker and founder of the online platform 'Ahimsa Conversations'. Rajni has a BA in Journalism and Political Science from George Washington University and an MA in Philosophy from the University of Rajasthan. Her books include: Bazaars, Conversations and Freedom: for a market culture beyond greed and fear, Bapu Kuti: Journeys in Rediscovery of Gandhi (which inspired the Hindi film Swades); Long Haul: the Bombay Textile Workers Strike 1982-83. Rajni has also written several monographs. Rajni launched a Youtube Channel called Ahimsa Conversations, which is a platform for exploring the possibilities of nonviolence. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Rajni was the Gandhi Peace Fellow at Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, a foreign policy think tank. She serves on the Boards of Child Rights and You (CRY), Citizens for Peace (CfP) and the Centre of Education and Documentation (CED).
Reggie Hubbard
Reggie Hubbard received a B.A. in philosophy from Yale University and an MBA in international strategy from the Vlerick Business School in Belgium. Reggie is a 500 hour certified yoga teacher and authored a thesis entitled, "Yoga and Spiritual Activism: Serving Humanity from a Sense of Devotion and Love." He currently serves as a senior political strategist for MoveOn, managing their relationships, impact and communications with Capitol Hill.
Rukudzo Mwamuka
Dr. Rukudzo Mwamuka is a psychiatrist living and working in Zimbabwe. She holds a medical degree (MBCHB) from the University of Zimbabwe and a Master of Medicine degree (Psychiatry) from the same university. Clinical Programs Manager and member of the Senior Leadership Team of Friendship Bench, an organization that trains community health care workers to provide Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with an emphasis on Problem Solving Therapy, activity scheduling and behavioral activation. For the past 6 years, she has been providing clinical care to patients from marginalized communities. She is currently focusing on ensuring fidelity of the program as it scales across the country with support from the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation under the special initiative for mental health. She is a member of the Catalyst 2030 Mental Health collaborative group. She works as a tutor for undergraduate medical students from the University of Zimbabwe mental health unit.
Sará King
Dr. Sará King is a neuroscientist, education philosopher, social-entrepreneur, and certified yoga and mindfulness meditation instructor. She specializes in the study of the relationship between mindfulness, art, community health and social justice. She is currently a post-doctoral fellow in Neurology at OHSU, a Garrison Institute Fellow and Society for Neuroscience Associate, and a member of Google’s well-being think tank “Vitality Lab”. She is the Co-Director of the Embodied Social Justice Certificate Program. She is the Director of Science and Healing for Mobius. She is the founder of MindHeart Consulting. She is currently partnered with the Museum of Modern Art in New York to bring her applied neuroscience research to the world as a part of their “Artful Practice For Well-Being” Initiative.
Sennay Ghebreab

Sennay Ghebreab is a Professor of Socially-Intelligent AI at the University of Amsterdam, program director Master Information Studies, and founder and scientific director of Civic-AI Lab. M.Sc. in Technical Information systems, Ph.D. degree in computer vision and medical Imaging, both from the University of Amsterdam. He took a keen interest in cognitive processing related to bias/stereotyping as a mechanism to cope with the complex (social) environment we live in. Sennay Ghebreab leads the Civic AI Lab, where AI technology is co-created with hard-to-reach or marginalized communities to improve social inclusion and equal opportunity in the areas of education, mobility, environment, health and wellbeing.

Yazmany Arboleda
Yazmany Arboleda is a Colombian American artist based in New York City. An architect by training, Yazmany activates communities with large scale art projects that seek to build heart-felt connections that lead to meaningful relationships. He believes that art is a verb not a noun. Over the past two decades he has created public art projects with communities in India, Japan, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Afghanistan, Spain, Colombia and the United States. He has collaborated with Carnegie Hall, the Yale School of Management, and the United Nations. He is a cofounder of limeSHIFT, the Future Historical Society, Remember 2019, and the Artist As Citizen Conference. He is the first artist in residence for New York City's Civic Engagement Commission as well as the global Community Arts Network.
