Alexander Zhang

Student at Chinese International School
As an aspiring science communicator, Alexander first found his passion for physics and philosophy in the equations of special relativity. In investigating the deep connections that both fields share to describe our Universe, he developed a drive to share the love of science with everyone, working especially closely with underprivileged communities in Hong Kong to create Students for Science, a student-run organisation that aims to empower refugee communities in Hong Kong through fun interactive science education.

Brian Mulcahy

Teacher, Playwright
Brian Mulcahy is the Deputy Head of the Secondary of Chinese International School. Brian is also an English teacher and a playwright in his free time.

Daniel Yang

Student at Chinese International School
Daniel Yang is a high school senior studying at Chinese International School in Hong Kong. An avid fan of both digital and film photography, Daniel seeks joy in capturing moments in time and documenting memories to look back on later on. Other areas he is passionate about involving the realms of computer science, specifically building software for the greater good. He also enjoys the great outdoors, where he spends his time running, hiking, and camping.

Steph Ng

Founder of Body Banter, M.A. Clinical Psychology, PhD Candidate in Psychology & Linguistics
Steph Ng is a CIS alumnus from the Class of 2015. As a passionate mental health advocate, Steph founded Body Banter, a non-profit organisation that empowers voices in conversations about body image and mental health. She obtained a master's degree in Clinical Psychology and is currently a PhD candidate in Psychology & Linguistics.

Zoe Zheng

Student at Chinese International School
Zoe Zheng is a senior student studying at Chinese International School. Zoe is passionate about the fields of psychology and art and hopes to give back to her community through these aspects. Apart from her academic interests, Zoe likes to play netball outside of school and represents Hong Kong in the junior and ladies league. Zoe pursues music in her free time with experience playing the cello for 10 years in numerous orchestras and symphonies around Hong Kong.
