The wait is finally over… Get ready for the most anticipated event of the year, because for the first time in two years, the team at TEDx Monash University will be bringing you our live Flagship Event: “The Big Picture”.

The pandemic has catalysed such an abrupt shift in our society and now, it seems as if our world continues to change at an even more rapid pace. As such, as part of the TEDx community, we hope to explore the “Big Picture” and assess what it takes to adapt to this new world and instil hope in moving beyond the hardships we’ve collectively faced and move towards the new normal.

You will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness an array of captivating speakers and incredibly talented performers. You’ll also have the chance to meet and network with like-minded individuals and be truly engaged in the discussion of how we move forwards as a society. Certainly, not an event to be missed. Arjun Agarwal

Arj is a financial and investment executer, a solution driven practitioner and power networker, he gets things done. Arj loves finding the root cause of a problem and the intersection of how the solution can challenge the status quo. Arj has helped businesses build in house solutions for various operational inefficiencies from the ground up across 3 continents and is really passionate about using his financial and investment knowledge to propagate positive impact through investing. He is currently the Co-founder and CEO of Inaam where he has engineered investing to change the world alongside his team and co-founder Ally Atmadja.

Lizzie Williamson

Dubbed by the US media as ‘the excuse-buster from Down-Under’, Lizzie Williamson is on a mission to get people moving in their day, even for just 2 minutes. The founder and author of Two Minute Moves, her energiser breaks and keynotes enliven conferences and corporations across the world. A certified personal trainer and mental health advocate, Lizzie is a regular on morning television and in global news publications.

Phil Hayes-St Clair

Phil Hayes-St Clair is a girl dad, educator and serial entrepreneur determined to change the way humans engage with their health and wellbeing. He is Co-Founder and CEO at Drop Bio Health, a company powering the future of at-home healthcare and early warning based in Sydney, Australia. He received a BSc (Immunology) from the Queensland University of Technology and an MBA from the University of New South Wales. Under Phil’s leadership, Drop Bio Health has built a world-class multi-disciplinary team, clinical product development partnerships and a product platform that is fuelling entry and growth into the women’s health, mental health and wellness markets. In addition to helping Drop Bio Health realise its mission of accelerating the world’s transition to personalised, preventative health, Phil is an educator and a fierce advocate for equality and women’s health. He is a Global Ambassador for Inspiring Rare Birds and an Adjunct Professor at the Australian Graduate of Management. Prior to co-founding Drop Bio Health in 2018, Phil founded consumer technology businesses in audio recognition, e-commerce, workflow management and helped grow inkl, a global, ad-free news platform. From 2001 to 2008, Phil held various roles in strategy, product management and marketing in ASX20 companies after completing service as an Australian Army soldier. Phil is a keynote speaker in digital health and women’s health and has represented Australia on the men’s triathlon team.

Sarah Ramantanis

Sarah is the Co-Chair of the Australian Youth Affairs Coalition and the Founder of KOS Magazine, a platform that aims to capture the stories of how everyday people positively impact their local and wider communities to create change. She has recently become the Marketing and Communications Manager at the General Sir John Monash Foundation. In her spare time, she is also involved with, NEXUS Australia, Kids in Philanthropy, UNICEF and The Centre of Youth Policy and Education Practice at Monash University. Sarah is also completing a Master of Communications at Monash.

Shadé Zahrai

Shadé Zahrai is an award-winning leadership strategist and global peak performance consultant to Fortune 500s. A former commercial lawyer that transitioned to a successful career in banking and strategy consulting, now with her husband she runs Influenceo Global Inc., a leadership development, consulting & research firm that works with some of the world’s largest organisations. Widely respected for her thought leadership and actionable bite-sized personal and professional development content on social media, Shadé has amassed a global community of over 2.6 million followers across platforms and her content has been viewed over 60 Million times. Her and her husband Faysal are passionate about empowering individuals to overcome their self-limits and confidently create a life worth living.
