Aanchal Thakur
Aanchal Thakur, the first Indian to win a silver medal in An Fis Alpine Skiing Race, was also the one to represent India at the 20 organized youth Olympics that took place in Innsburg.
She won four silver medals across separate categories at the UAE Alpine Slalom Championship. Hailing from a small but picturesque hill station of Manali, Aanchal Thakur etched her name in history by winning bronze at the precious Alpine edge Ejder 3200 Cup organized by the Federation International Deski (FIS)- skiing's international governing body - at the Palandoken Ski Centre in Erzurum in Turkey and became the first Indian to achieve an international medal in skiing.
Kanthi Dutt
Kanthi Dutt is one of the youngest serial entrepreneurs from India. He has been an entrepreneur since the age of 12. Having founded Spartans Media, a brand management firm, in Class VII, he stopped schooling full-time after Class X because he believed “no one could grade his knowledge.” Today, at 22, Dutt is an entrepreneur with a cause.
He has also founded 1CroreTees, a smart social initiative to raise funds for creating better literacy standards in rural areas. In 2021, he founded - SustainKart, a marketplace for sustainable products. The e-commerce startup is valued at over 120 crores within 1 year of inception.
He was awarded as the "Young Entrepreneur '' at the Telangana Rashtra Sarwabhowma Awards 2019. As an author, he penned the book "Rediscovering Path to Success" which was published in 2020.
Kenidra Woods
Known for her activism and advocacy for mental health as well as Gun violence in the United States, she is the author of a memoir called, A Heart of Hope, in which she shares her experiences of self-harm and self-doubt, along with other issues she has worked hard to overcome.
She is also the creator of, "Hope for Humanity," an event to connect students of different races and backgrounds and empower them to be better included and represented in the fight to end the epidemic of gun violence.
Pratik Gauri
Pratik Gauri is a serial Indian social entrepreneur, investor, public speaker and writer widely known as the Creator of the 5th Industrial Revolution. He has been championing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and helping transition the world from a for-profit economy to a for-benefit economy for more than a decade.
Pratik believes that the service of humanity and social good can work hand-in-hand with business. Pratik was named Creative Entrepreneur of the year - Startup by Entrepreneur India magazine and Entrepreneur of the year 2020 by Indian Achievers’ Forum.
Tapan Misra
Tapan Misra is an Indian scientist who has been the Director of the Space Applications Centre and Physical Research Laboratory in ISRO. In 2021, Mr. Tapan founded a space-tech startup called SISIR Radar, which manufactures Synthetic Aperture Radars (SAR), a technology that he pioneered in ISRO, for drones and satellites.
Tapan is widely known for the design and development of the C-band Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) of the RISAT-1. He steered the development of the RISAT-2 series of high-resolution X-band SAR systems. He wrote an algorithm for real-time processing of SAR data during his stint as a guest scientist in the German Aerospace Agency in 1990. He led the development of high-resolution C-band airborne DMSAR, airborne L&S band SAR and highly miniaturized X-band SAR for Airborne and UAV Applications. He also headed the Office of Innovations Management, ISRO, Bangalore.
Mr. Tapan received Vikram Sarabhai Research Award in 2004 and the ISRO Merit award in 2008 for his contribution to the development of SAR technology. He was elected as a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering in 2007. He was elected as a corresponding Member of the International Academy of Astronautics in 2008. He is also elected a Fellow of IETE and ISRS. He was awarded DSc (Hon.) in 2016 and a Distinguished Alumnus award in 2017 by his Alma Mater, Jadavpur University. He also taught at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Jodhpur as an adjunct Professor. He holds seven granted patents. He has five copyrights and more than fifty-five papers to his credit.
