Aparna Piramal Raje is a writer, columnist, public speaker and educator and the author of the recently
released, Chemical Khichdi: How I Hacked My Mental Health, a book on her experiences of living with a
serious mental health condition for the last two decades.
Her popular column, Head Office, in the Mint newspaper, looks at leadership through the unique lens of
workspace design and management workstyles. Over 100 CEOs from India and globally have been
featured in the Head Office. The column led to her first book, Working Out of the Box: 40 stories of
leading CEOs. She has also previously contributed to the UK’s Financial Times Weekend, a leading
global newspaper.
A visiting faculty member at the Anant National University in Ahmedabad, she teaches a module called
‘Netflix and the Art of Design Writing’. Aparna enjoys speaking on design, leadership, business and
mental health in various forums, including industry associations, companies and business schools.
Former CEO of BP Ergo, one of India’s largest modular office furniture companies, Aparna studied
politics, philosophy and economics at Oxford University and earned an MBA from Harvard Business

Khushi Jhankharia, a design student at Anant National University, is a self-taught
multi-instrumentalist. A music enthusiast, she has won many accolades, among which is being crowned
Miss Talented Gujarat 2020 at the Times Fresh Face contest. Known as “The Instrument girl”, Khushi
plays 5 instruments at the same time and can play 12 instruments in total.
