Ex-People Pleaser
After having had enough of his awful life, he no longer cares about it anymore and starts proving himself, living his life to the fullest, and exploring the world instead of following others' paths. Having the courage to be different from others, he starts realizing that what held him down the entire time was not that he isn't gifted, smart, or rich, but rather other people's opinions about how he should act, how he should be, and how he should live. The more he travels and meets people, the more he learns about opinions and how to live with them.

For as long as he can remember, his ambition has been to create as many bonds as possible. He was willing to sacrifice anything to be loved by everyone in the world. However, when reality struck, he realized that trying to be friends with everyone made him an enemy to himself. Surrounded by countless faces, he sought the truth. His search for authenticity made him realize that even if the world were against him, a genuine relationship with someone else was enough to keep him going. His name is John Carl Villa, and it's a pity that there is no longer a kingdom to guard, only his ego remains.
The Unexpected
"Do TEDx," they said. "It'll be fun," they said. Born with an insatiable curiosity for the unknown, I found my calling in TEDx, sharing my transformative journey of embracing unexpected challenges. Despite meticulous plans, life threw unforeseen events and detours my way. Adversity became my teacher, testing resilience and pushing boundaries. In my TEDx talk, I shared the power of redefining challenges as stepping stones, urging others to navigate the uncharted territories of life with grace and resilience.

Being a woman who has always turned down her opportunities and never realized her potential in life, I, Athicha Khantharak, have exceeded my expectations and those of others as well. I was once trapped by society's 'beauty standard,' but I soon realized its manipulative influence and the negative impact it had on people's thoughts. Society's beauty ideals control and dictate our mindset, leaving no one immune to feelings of inadequacy. I believe that there is no one in this world who looks in the mirror and thinks they are not beautiful enough, unless society's beauty standards impose a controlling concept that rules the mindset of society. I am Pattie Chananchida Pongphet, a Grade 9 student from Bangkok, hoping to propel society forward and shed light on how the beauty standard is affecting our society.
An Average Procrastinator
"You need to get your life together," that's what her peers tell her. Well, more like hypocrites. For the past few years, Wink has been participating in and overwhelming herself with all the activities and tasks she could do to keep herself busy, thinking it would force her to become better at time management. Soon, she finds out that she is just one of the many in the world facing such problems.

Game Developer
At age five, my passion for apps and video games ignited when I received a tablet. Minecraft sparked my gaming journey, fueling my exploration of digital creativity. I learned the essentials for successful development: math, computer science, and 3D modeling. Despite setbacks, relentless research and dedication paid off as I chose Unity from various gaming engines. Multiple tutorials prepared me to embark on personal projects.
Though challenging, I overcame obstacles through trial and error, incorporating first-person shooter code and 3D models into my final product. Publishing the game on itch.io marked a significant milestone, motivating me to pursue extensive gaming development.
Seeker of Adventure
I was born in the small state of Manipur. Despite growing up in Thailand, my mother would always tell me about her family and culture. Whenever my mother introduced herself to others, I found it intriguing why they were confused whenever they heard about the place, Manipur. Growing up, I learned that many people don't know about Manipur. I took this as an opportunity to teach others about Manipur, as well as inspire them to explore and keep that adventurous spirit alive in them.
Dream Chaser
I work hard and play hard. I chase my dreams, keeping my goal in mind and remaining full of enthusiasm. I strive to achieve a healthy study-life balance, nurture a thriving social life, develop healthy habits, and find time for the activities I enjoy. As a studious person, I dedicate time to my hobbies, activities, and interests that bring me joy. By balancing my life between studies, school activities, and hobbies, I continuously learn new skills and improve my self-esteem.
Anti-Bullying Advocate
When I found out about TEDx, I knew this was an opportunity to change millions of lives, including my own, based on personal experiences. My childhood was not what I expected it to be like. Bullying, teasing, and name-calling affected me deeply. After years of frustration, I finally stood up for myself. I then realized that running away or changing schools were not proper solutions for dealing with bullying. Many cases of bullying go unnoticed, and worst of all, bullies escape punishment. It is necessary to identify what bullying looks like and how it is done. So, as Suhavi Singh, a grade 7 student, I would like to share my voice for those who cannot stand up for themselves.
