In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Amrita Raichand wears many hats- chef, mom, actor, writer and many more. After having her kid, Amrita sought refuge in the kitchen and like all young anxious moms, she made sure everything her son ate was clean and healthy. This led to her spending hours in the kitchen coming with innovative, healthy and tasty food for her family. She began a show called "Mummy ka Magic". Soon there was no looking back. Amrita felt a responsibility to all the parents who looked to her for help. Today, she is a successful chef, still continuing to impart her learnings to people in addition to being a writer, youtuber and a student of nutrition science constantly learning to better herself.

Apeksha Bhattacharya

Apeksha Bhattacharya is the founder and director of Indian Academy of Russian Ballet. She has received her ballet diploma from the Bolshoi ballet program, New York and the Vaganova method in St. Petersburg Russia. Her goal is to make ballet more popular in India. As a dancer, she recognized its enormous potential in the country. Currently, she is focusing more on popularising ballet in India through various competitions and to let the world know the beauty and importance of ballet.

Krutarth Upadhyay

Krutarth Upadhyay is the founder and CEO at Hydro Health. He is a proud environmentalist working towards making a difference. Krutarth was working for an environmental restoration firm when he first became aware of crop cultivation and management malpractices. He discovered that tens of thousands of litres of water were squandered while farming, with the crop produced being non-organic. He chose not to follow the crowd and became the family's first hydroponic farmer. He has been featured by big brands like HDFC living and Cottonworld and has been at the forefront of generating change.

Mohit Bhagchandani

Mohit Bhagchandani is the founder of 7Ink Brews and Copter 7. He developed a love for sports at a very young age by playing in whatever sport he could get his hands and feet on. This passion later on made him work in key roles and head the sports management divisions at various agencies like Mudra and Percept. But that was not enough for him. He had another desire to merge the emotion of sports with food and beverages especially for sport lovers. His dream has taken his 7Ink Brews company to be modelled on India's most iconic sports champion, MS Dhoni, and named after his signature 'Helicopter Shot.'

Nidhi Yasha

Nidhi Yasha is the founder of NY Studio, a 360 degree one stop solution costume destination in Mumbai. She is one of India's foremost Fashion and Costume Designers. Internationally renowned for sartorial expertise, she has won several accolades and showcased her work on many global platforms. She has also internationally designed costumes for XUAN ZANG, China's official entry into the Oscars in 2016. Being one of the India's best fashion designers and spearheading the fashion revolution in India, Nidhi Yasha continues to build her legacy.

Sarah Sham

Sarah Sham is the Principal Designer at Essajees Atelier, part of the 110 year old Essajees family and an epitome of the Interior Designing industry. A fourth generation entrepreneur, Sarah always had a deep affinity for both the creative and commercial sides of business. She founded Essajees Atelier, an interior design firm, as an extension of the family's art dealership. She has been careful not to develop a 'signature style'. This means that every project is a blank canvas to her, waiting for new ideas to populate it.

Shamoly Khera

Dr. Shamoly Khera is a Doctor, TV Presenter, Keynote Speaker and an Author. She began her profession as a Cosmetologist in Mumbai. But soon discovered her passion for acting and her ability to perform. Her passion in performance psychology prompted her to launch her teaching academy 'Speak to Inspire'. Her zeal for writing and expertise as Chief Editor aided her in establishing a profession in the field of interviewing. She has interviewed top personalities such as Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, to name a few.

Vasuda Sharma

Vasuda Sharma's music is a great mix of Indian classical and folk with a contemporary western music. She was chosen to represent India at the 2010 Berlin Popkomm Festival in September. Vasuda enjoys experimenting with new things, has a background in Indian classical music, and has performed live looping using both Indian and Western influences. This makes her a one-woman band that performs some beatboxing, a few harmonies and composes her own music.
