Austin Li is a junior at Carlmont High School. He plays football and track, and likes to hang out with friends and play video games. He wants to go into the business field and aspires to one day start his own business.
Emilie Takahashi

Emilie Takahashi is a junior at Carlmont. She loves challenging herself through literary interests such as reading and writing poetry. She also enjoys classical and traditional Japanese literature. She find importance in fostering growth through creative expression, primarily within a multitude of art forms. In her future, Emilie is looking to expand and share knowledge on the biopsychosocial effects modern media has on the progression of society.
Jono Sison

Jono Sison is a senior at Carlmont High School. He loves to go on long walks with his dog, play basketball, explore ice cream shops with friends, play chess, and write. Jono has always been intrigued by the art of public speaking and leadership. He has fed this desire and curiosity through his extensive involvement in Student Government for the past six years of his life. Jono will continue his academic journey in UC Berkeley this Fall, where he plans to study within the social sciences department.

Ruya Yaman
Student
Ruya Yaman is a senior and the current president of Carlmont’s Technical Theatre Association (CTTA). From joining CTTA as one of the only freshmen to becoming a part of the executive board years later, Ruya has spent several hundred hours in Carlmont’s Performing Arts Center learning the ins and outs of tech, bonding with crew members, and creating lasting memories through long nights of rehearsal. When she’s not in the PAC, Ruya loves consuming and creating all sorts of media, including music, podcasts, and film — she’s even co-hosted a podcast series on tech theater! Ruya hopes to carry her love for storytelling, especially through technical theater, into college and beyond.
