I believe the high school curriculum is not that difficult, however, many students are having difficulty due to distractions around them. Finding ways to unlock one’s potential is a secret to success I believe is worthwhile to explore.

Madelyn Cook
Madelyn Cook is currently an 11th grade student at Winston Churchill High School. She has spent her academic career in the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) system and is part of the graduating class of 2024. She’s deeply interested in the STEM field and how it can impact society in a variety of ways. Maddie spent her summer working in an HIV research lab at George Washington University and at an introduction to medical school program at Tufts University. In her free time, Maddie participates in Model UN, runs the Women in Medicine club, reads, and hikes with her dog.
