In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Alex Lho

Alexander Lho is a student at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA. He is a member of his school's Student Wellness Advisory Council and MACD (Multicultural Affairs and Community Development) Student Advisory Council. His passion exists in community health and the field of science, specifically biology and chemistry as he hopes to one day become an influential healthcare provider.

David, a high school student, founded the firm Spade Graphic Design. Spade Design reaches businesses across nine states and a range of industries from restaurants, ski resorts, clothing brands, gift shops, to healthcare providers and non-profit organizations.

Henry is an incoming freshman at Tufts University with a wide variety of passions. He plans on using his talents to better society through medicine, engineering, or business.

Leyad Zavriyev

Leyad is a high school student living just outside of Boston who is passionate in areas ranging from biotechnology to international affairs and philosophy. He aims to connect people through authentic communication and expand our knowledge through innovation and research.
