Kristina Mecelicaite
Special Education Specialist
II was born and raised in Lithuania and I am proud to speak Lithuanian, one of the oldest active languages in the world. While growing up, my country was a part of the Soviet Union and behind the Iron Curtain. As a result, I experienced propaganda in education firsthand. Perhaps because of my experience, I believe that education is our most important societal issue. A good education is the answer to man, if not most, of our local and global challenges. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and running.
