Afia Salam is a journalist having vast experience in print, electronic, and web journalism. She has recently been more engaged in the field of development sector communications, focusing on the environment, climate change, labor, and gender issues. She has been highlighting these concerns through her writings, seminars, and various panel discussions and round tables. She is a member of the national coordinating body for Marine Protected Areas. She's also a development practitioner and president of the Baanh Beli organization Chair Board of Trustees-Indus Earth Trust, Trustee of the helpline Trust, and has recently been appointed to the National Climate Change Council. During the 2010-11 flood she remained on the frontline. She is again covering various aspects of recent floods in Sindh.

Ghulam Hyder Daudpota is an award-winning ceramicist and a passionate admirer of the art of Kashi Kari (Persian for mosaic art) ceramics, which is a centuries-old craft.
Ghulam Hyder Daudpota has dedicated almost his entire life to studying, teaching, and preserving this ancient art which faces a rapid decline in quality due to contemporary art practices and fast-tracked industrial mass production.
Ghulam Hyder Daudpota believes that a lack of appreciation and patronage should not extinguish traditional art forms. He preaches and practices traditional ceramic techniques and has spared no stage to advocate for the importance of and the utter beauty that lies in the traditional methods of tile-making.

Syed Ali Hameed is a known countering violent extremism expert, peace-building specialist, and social entrepreneur working in the development arena of Pakistan since 2008. He specializes in the development and execution of community development projects. He has worked in more than 60 districts of Pakistan engaging thousands of social leaders, especially youth at universities and religious seminaries. He has developed various national-level campaigns and projects for the promotion of peace and tolerance including the currently running project AmnQalaab, Salamti Fellowship Program, and National Peace Talks. He has developed and spearheaded Pakistan’s leading women entrepreneurship development programs such as “Women Can Do” and Pakistan’s first “Women Entrepreneurship Summit” (2015). He also heads a transnational peace-building campaign called “Peace Without Borders”.
