Liminal Spaces refer to the territory between the familiar and the unknown, where the old is left behind but we are not yet sure of the future. While there may be fear and anxiety, there is also anticipation and hope. This is a space where genuine newness can begin and a bigger, more inclusive world can be imagined.
It’s a transitionary space where we’ve all dwelled in at some point. Have you ever had the feeling of being on the verge of an unfolding
reality where you vacillate in a boundary-free zone, waiting to cross the next threshold... physically, mentally or otherwise? Was the sunrise you last beheld symbolic of what was to come?
This event hopes to discuss transitional spaces be it temporal, geographical, metaphorical or intellectual, for example. We may express uncertainties, yet hope for the future by exploring boundaries that we personally wish to challenge, innovative solutions to nagging problems or offer a subaltern perspective on society.
