In a world that has grown to become more competitive than ever before, a battle for survival and achievement has risen. The genius, the creative, the enthusiasts, and the hopeful are who prevail to morph a better reality out of the chaos we live in: those who think different in a world which is lacking something different.
People who think differently are the ones capable of creating change.
Their confidence in the face of hardship is driven by their ability to let go of the negativity that holds so many otherwise sensible people back. That confidence gives them the drive to dare to achieve whats deemed impossible, they are able to achieve something different.
Where others see impenetrable barriers, they see challenges to embrace and obstacles to overcome.
Obstacles do not block the path; they are the path
This year we made it our mission to come up with an extraordinary TEDx event, for this year it will truly be something different.
Our goal is to make it best one yet, therefore to acheive that, we have researched aspects that will make this event one that will be unforgettable.

He is one of the top management experts and trainers in the region, as he is known for his unique delivery methods that are engaging and transformative.Since 2008, he has been training around 5,000 participants a year on management and leadership skills. His vision and passion is to help people discover their talents and build their lives around them.Ahmad is a certified trainer from ILM. He holds a master’s degree in Creativity and Giftedness, a post-graduate diploma in innovation and design thinking, and a certificate in Strengths based education from Clifton Strengths School.He is currently designing, delivering, and assessing workshops focusing on employees’ skill development and management skills..

Before joining kalamata, Ms. Elayyan worked in the recruitment, training, and development fields within different sectors including Public Sector, NGOs & Banking.

Hani Akasheh is a medical doctor and entrepreneur He is the founder of Human Energy Management, an educational and training platform that focuses on raising awareness of psychosomatic disease and mental health empowerment through delivering multi-modal, visual and educational programs. With over 250public workshops/lectures delivered to a broad range of audiences ranging from universities, and youth empowerment programs to leading companies and corporate giants. His core mission in life is to marry science technology, and art into the awe-inspiring universe of human transformation/optimization. Dr.Akasheh is also the founder of a non-profit company that focuses on delivering neuroscience and neuroeducation training to kindergarten teachers in under-resourced areas in Jordan, with hopes of spreading more awareness on neurologically friendly upbringing and ultimately bridging the gap between powerful scientific ideas and nonscientific communities involved in childhood care and education

Jarah Al Hawamdeh

Is Jordan’s first climber with an artificial limb. He is a rock climber and a mountaineer. When Jarrah Al-Hawamdeh was receiving treatment for bone cancer, he would stay up all night dreaming of his future as a mountaineer. He was 15 years old and had long bouts of insomnia after doctors amputated his right leg. But Jarrah refused to let that destroy his life. He climbed the highest summit in Jordan, the highest summit in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, the base camp of Mount Everest, and his dream is to climb the seven world summits.

is a higher education professor as well as an academic programs designer. His main areas of expertise are creativity & innovation, finance, and entrepreneurship, in which, he develops and teaches online and on-campus courses in bachelors, masters, MBA, and executive education level.He is currently a Senior Consultant for the United Nations in the Gulf Countries, working on business incubators and accelerators related projects.Believing that the only difference between people is education or the lack of it he launched HOPE, where he and his team are developing courses and academic programs to be taught in refugee camps.

Mais samhouri

Mais Samhouri is a clinical psychologist, who has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Jordan and Master's degree in clinical psychology from Al-Ahliyya Amman University. Also, she had her license to practice the profession from the Jordanian ministry of Health.-She worked in different community organizations that advocate for refugee protection, safety, and rights and helped the ones affected by wars. Her role was to support them by providing psychological services to refugees in need.- Member of the Jordanian Psychological Association. -Member of the Jordanian Association of Clinical Psychologists. -Member of the international Society of Sexual Medicine. -Contributing member of the "first time" initiative to reduce sexual harassment.

Mohammad Al Shaker

Mohammad Nabil AlShaker is a Jordanian entrepreneur, founder and CEO of the Arab Weather Company. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy in addition to some certificates in the field of forecasting and meteorology. He studied pharmacy but his love for the weather began since his childhood. When he reached the age of 15, he purchased a set of research papers in English to learn more about the science of weather forecasting. He also used research on the Internet and participated in a number of training courses via e-learning sites. It was adopted by global climatic centers, and gradually began to learn to read and analyze maps, and was finally able to predict the weather for at least five days. He received the Entrepreneur Award The most promising of the year 2012 and appeared on thecover of Forbes magazine in the Middle East version in the year 2016 as one of the most influential people in the world.

Wael Al-Masri

Architect

Wael Al-Masri is Founder and Chief Architect of Wael Al-Masri Planners and Architects (WMPA) which he established in 2009. Before that he served as Partner and Chief Architect/Director of Urban Planning and Architectural Design for Dar Al-Omran, where he designed and managed several important projects in the Arab region since 1994. During that period he also served as senior architect for the Jordan Sustainable Tourism Development Project, with the Washington based company Chemonics International, involving the development of major archaeological sites in Jordan. He has been a lecturer of architecture and interior design at the Jordan University for Women (now Petra University) and the University of Applied Sciences in Amman. He served in 1991 as Campus Architect for the University of Southern Indiana, USA, and worked for the Kuwaiti Engineer’s Office (KEO) from 1984 to 1990, where he designed several culturally sensitive projects.
