In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dr.A Sivathanu Pillai is an Indian scientist who formerly served as Honorary Distinguished Professor at Indian Space Research Organisation (2015-2018)and an honorary professor at IIT Delhi in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (2015-2016) and a Visiting Professor at Indian Institute of Science (2014-2015). He formerly served as Chief Controller of Research and Development from year 1996 to 2014 and held the rank of "Distinguished Scientist" from year 1999 to 2014 at the Defence Research and Development Organisation at the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of India.He is also the founder-CEO and managing director of the BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited.

Dr.Krishnamurthy Jayanna is a physician, a public health specialist and a researcher; currently works as Professor and Dean of Faculty of Life and Allied Health Sciences at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. In the last five years, he is focusing on interventions that impact lifestyles and quality of life through Integrative approaches. He founded Center for Integrative Health and Wellbeing to promote integrative health; personally a yoga and meditation practitioner for around 25 years, and a certified Heartfulness trainer for over 15 years. He regularly interacts with youngsters and his colleagues, and trains those interested in embracing integrative lifestyle for enhancing one’s wellbeing

Nivedan Nempe

Nivedan Nempe was born in Mandagadde, a village in Thirthahalli, Shimoga District, Karnataka,India. He completed his schooling in Govt.school,Mandagadde. and completed B.Pharmacy in National Educational Society,Shimoga. After his Pharmacy he went to Australia and completed his Masters in Manufacturing and Management Technology in Melbourne University,Australia. After completion of his masters, he worked two years as Business Development Consultant for an Australian company and travelled around countries like New Zealand, Singapore, Bangkok,Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates for the completion of company’s project.

Sruthi heads Cisco LaunchPad where she works with deep tech startups for co-creating end-to-end digital solutions focused on technology areas like IOT, Collaboration, Security, Network and Infra, Analytics, etc. Through LaunchPad, she drives meaningful outcomes for start-ups in their scale-up journey by providing access to a wide gamut of resources including Joint Go-To-Market, Tech Integrations, Business Mentorship, Grants and Investor Connects. Over the last 4 years, she has worked closely with over 100 CXOs of deep tech start-ups as well as mentors across various organizations. Prior to Cisco LaunchPad, she spearheaded Customer Success for Telecom Providers deploying mobility solutions around the world.
