Anuhya Thota is a sixth-form student studying at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, Horncastle, Lincolnshire UK. From a young age, she has been fascinated by STEM subjects. She enjoys team working, problem-solving and critical thinking. She strives to think about cutting-edge educational systems and how the next generation of schools ought to be designed so that they serve as the catalyst for resolving the issues that the world is currently facing. She also enjoys swimming, singing, and acting.
Community Fitness Advocate & Entrepreneur
Bailey Greetham-Clark is the 19-year-old founder and CEO of BeGreatFitness, a multi-award-winning community health and well-being company driven on making fitness accessible to all. Bailey started his company at 17 after seeing a huge need to disrupt the health industry and ensure everyone has an equal chance to access health and well-being activities. Through his perseverance and great determination, he has built up a team of 5 others, expanded into multiple different towns and even developed national projects, Bailey has recently been recognised as a Grimbarian and his company has been awarded on multiple occasions.
Jo Copson
Disability Campaigner
In 2019, Jo was diagnosed with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, a chronic connective tissue disorder impacting her joints, digestion, circulation, cognition, vision, and mental health. After this diagnosis, Jo was forced to challenge her own internalised ableism in order to properly support herself. After reaching a better understanding of her own abilities, Jo began to advocate for those who are in a similar position to herself. She spent this last year as the Disabilities Officer for Lincoln SU, whilst completing her Masters by research at the University of Lincoln. Jo also runs an advocacy account on Instagram, inspired by Amy Lee Fisher, where she posts about her life with EDS and raises awareness of this condition.
Joe Hayden
Multidisciplinary Storyteller & Artist
Multidisciplinary storyteller, writer and poet Joe Hayden is a regular on the Lincoln open mic circuit. Joe Hayden was born and raised. He was educated. He regrets everything. He regrets nothing. The sea is not blue. The word "vomit" only exists due to a misunderstanding. I actually do know why a raven is like a writing desk but only because someone told me.
Historian & Author
Lydia Sanders is a 24-year-old children’s author and self-proclaimed feminist from Lincoln. She graduated from Durham University in 2020 with a degree in Spanish and French, and is currently studying for a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Nottingham. Upon graduating she found herself walking the long road to unemployment over lockdown, so decided to do something useful with her time and make her dream of becoming a children’s author a reality. She put pen to paper and created Hysterical Herstories, a book series for children and young adults telling the stories of ordinary women from history who led extraordinary lives. She is a fierce advocate for confidence, independence, and learning how to take up space, the successes of which have led to Lydia and the herstories being featured on BBC Radio, in literary journals, podcasts and blogs, in regional magazines, as well as being a guest speaker at various book festivals and universities.
Robyn Jackaman
Researcher & Social Change Advocate
Robyn, 22, is a Sociology graduate from Bishop Grosseteste University, and is now a Masters Student at the University of Lincoln, wanting to pursue a career in academia. Incredibly passionate about social change, gender and sexuality, Robyn is a friendly, smiley face who will always be up for a chat. As a highly ambitious woman, Robyn aims to accomplish a PhD in Sociology and work towards legislative changes in the British sex education but for now, she’s fulfilled in Lincoln city life.
Ryan Brady
Student & Entrepreneur
After a year of struggling to balance university life and his passion for entrepreneurship, Ryan Brady decided to start a co-living incubator with other student entrepreneurs. The goal was to bring together students who had similar professional and personal development goals and help keep each other accountable. After one year of spectacular results, Ryan has gone on to become a top salesperson at Digital Prodigee, a hybrid digital marketing and full stack technology solutions agency based out of Florida whilst continuing to live and study in Madrid.
Educator & Theatremaker
Shannon is a theatremaker, writer, teacher and company director from Scunthorpe who specialises in theatre for young people. She studied at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln. After graduating in 2016 with a BA in Applied Drama with Visual Arts, went on to complete her PGCE with Hull University in 2018. Shannon found her love of theatre at age 11 and began working in the industry as a freelancer at 18. She launched her theatre school, Duckegg Theatre Lincolnshire and North Nottinghamshire, in 2019, which is now thriving and expanding across Lincoln and its boroughs. In 2021 Shannon was named one of Lincolnshire's 30 under 30 to watch.
