Theme: Elephant in The Room

A metaphorical idiom that visualizes an enormous topic, be it in the world, in our respective communities, or even within ourselves that is yet to be acted on, discussed, or touched. This 2022, TEDxITS aims to bring just that; an awakening experience for individuals, especially ITS community elements, about the unheard, unspoken, and unseen discussions in society.

Known as the CEO & Co-Founder of Garda Pangan, Dedhy strives to raise public awareness of food waste that occurs in Indonesia. Dedhy has received awards, namely Top 20 ASEAN Youth Sociopreneurship Program 2017, Top 25 Sociodigileaders Telkom 2017, and has been published in various media such as Jawa Pos, IDN Times, and SCG Magazine.

Speaking of actions, he’s no stranger to the topic. Currently, Mr. Putro is enrolled as ITS lecturer with his Ph.D. in chemistry from University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom. Mr. Putro is an expert in food biochemistry, chemistry, natural products biotechnology, and microbial bioactivity. His proficiency is shown by being able to publish more than 30 journals!
