Deane De Menezes
An ex- Xavierite, Deane De Menezes founded the initiative, Red is The New Green (RING) in 2016 which focuses on reducing stigma regarding menstruation in India. She received the prestigious Queen's Young Leader Award from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace for her work. Along with being an Associate Fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, she is also the UNICEF Development Partner for menstrual hygiene in the state of Maharashtra. Currently, in the pandemic, her initiative RING was able to coordinate distribution and delivery of upto 2.4 lakh sanitary pads in Mumbai to menstruators.
Dr. Luis Dias
Coming from a family of doctors, Dr Dias is a fourth-generation doctor from his family and he practised for a decade. In 2008, Dr Dias gave up his thriving career in medicine in the UK and returned to his home in Goa to start Child’s Play India Foundation. The organisation works with children coming from disadvantaged backgrounds across Goa to socially empower them through the medium of Western classical music.
Dr. Neelam Shetty
Dr. Neelam Shetty worked in the corporate sector before she decided to totally switch careers and start teaching at St. Xavier’s College. She was a self-employed soft skills trainer for about 6 years. She moved to London for two years where she was a visiting lecturer at London School of Business and Finance. Currently, she is a faculty of the Department of Management Studies at St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Mumbai.
Dr. Saundarya Rajesh
Dr. Saundarya Rajesh is the Founder and President of Avtar, an organisation that provides hiring solutions throughout India. She is the originator of the concept of Second Career opportunities for women in Corporate India and is an advisor for several companies on Inclusion and Diversity. In recent years, it has helped more than 40,000 women to re-enter the workforce. In November 2020, the company launched MyAvtar — a job portal for marginalised society sections, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Kavitha George
As an entrepreneur and founder of Communicare Education, Kavitha works with children with special needs. The company organises interventional programs for parents as well as these children.
Mahesh Babu
Coming from backgrounds of Advertising and Geophysics, respectively, they are currently the directors of Banyan Tree Events. This is an exciting initiative promoting and propagating India’s rich cultural legacy by creating and organizing multi-faceted performing arts events. Spread across genres, from Indian classical vocals and dance to folk music and dance, from Sufi and ghazals to devotional music, from experimental thematic presentations to much more, Banyan Tree is at the forefront, preserving and projecting India’s performing cultures.

Rinaa Shah
A shoe designer, a business owner, a DJ and India's first woman polo player who started playing at the professional level at the age of 40, she is someone who defines inspiration, and her life has been a showcase of overcoming any kind of barrier. Today, she owns a Polo team, a fashion label named ‘Rinaldi Designs’ that caters to the premium high fashion footwear for women & kids, and has established herself as India’s first female electronic percussionist and a known electronic drummer and DJ in India and Amsterdam.
Rutik Jadhav
A third-year student at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, Rutik is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, and working as an entrepreneur for over 4 years.
Sanjana Chatlani
Sanjana Chatlani is a calligrapher, lettering artist and entrepreneur based in Mumbai. She brings words to life through her beautiful lettering strokes. Having discovered her passion for calligraphy and lettering, she quit her job at LVMH to start – ‘The Bombay Lettering Company’, which has now become a home-grown brand.
Sanjay Khatri
Sanjay Khatri’s journey started when he auditioned for a ballet academy that took him in. He trained for 8 years, with an aim to make an International career. He now has a ballet academy of his own, named Central Contemporary Ballet, in Delhi.
