In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Del Redvers

Based in Aberdeen, Scotland Del Redvers is Corporate Affairs Director for a global engineering and consulting firm and also chair of one of Scotland’s leading environmental charities. He enjoys the contrast of recognising there are many ways to look at a problem.

Eric Doyle

Based in Aberdeen Scotland, Eric Doyle is the founder and a senior coach at Consult Crux – Digital Commercial Advisors. A specialist in digital business management, Eric helps organisations change their commercial mindset and put a framework in place on digital and social channels to boost business performance.

Fraser Hay

Fraser Hay is a business coach and keynote speaker specialising in entrepreneurship, resilience and marketing technology helping individuals to plan, document, execute and automate their business ideas. Based in the north-east of Scotland, Fraser helps individuals and business owners to create and live their vision whilst finding the clarity, meaning and purpose they need to achieve their personal and entrepreneurial goals. A published author, and professional speaker, he has written more than 20 books, and delivered keynotes on four continents.

Katie Forbes

Katie Forbes is a journalist, with a background in digital and social media marketing, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Katie currently holds the role of Engagement Producer at Reach PLC and Creative Lead of the ReachAbility committee. Katie received her autism diagnosis at the age of 11-years-old and is proud to be neurodivergent. Katie is Founder and Director of Autistic Flair, an online community and resource hub dedicated to amplifying autistic voices and working towards an inclusive future for all. Through her website and Instagram page, Katie is well-established as an advocate for the autistic community.

Lauren Hay

Lauren Hay launched her own business, Faramagan Studio back in 2019. Specialising in all things content creation, Lauren is passionate about social media management and copywriting. Born in Cullen, north of Aberdeen in Scotland, she is a keen traveller having visited 30 countries to date, sharing her adventures on her travel blog, Faramagan - Doric for "where am I going".

Lyly Fong

Originally from Buckie in the north-east of Scotland, Lyly Fong is the Corporate Website Manager at Sanofi and has more than a decade of international experience in marketing and communications across multiple sectors. Outside of her professional life, Lyly is a member of the GlobalScot Network and the Scottish Black and People of Colour Writers Network. She was also the 2019 Winner of the Toulmin Prize by the Elphinstone Institute, a centre for the study of Ethnology, Folklore, and Ethnomusicology at the University of Aberdeen.

Sarah Rochester

Sarah Rochester works in communications in the public sector, after spending a number of years at Aberdeen Airport and before that a career in radio broadcasting. With a range of experience under her belt, Sarah is an experienced leader as well as a trusted advisor to both colleagues and peers. In her free time she enjoys running, reading and baking, when she can fit it all in around parenting.

Zoe Morrison

Zoe Morrison is a Professor at Robert Gordon University’s Business School in Aberdeen, Scotland. With a background in social sciences, Zoe holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration and Management, and is an expert in behavioural and organisational change.
