This session takes a look inside an innovative approach to reimaging the patient and patient support network experience inside a healthcare setting. Ms. Vasquez will discuss the impact, the evolution, and the culture being developed through the WOW program.
Speaker: Adriane Vazquez, Director of Patient Experience, Texas Health Frisco
Adriane Vasquez received a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Texas of San Antonio in May 2006 and her Master of Business Administration in May of 2016. She went on to start her career in Physical Therapy in Dallas, Tx for the Tenet healthcare system at Doctor’s Hospital of White Rock Lake in Dallas, Tx and Lake Pointe hospital in Rowlett, Tx. She led a team all-encompassing of 2 acute care facilities and 6 outpatient locations of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and Cardiac Rehabilitation nurses. Her growth from coordinator to Director of Rehabilitations services in 2014 excelled her knowledge and love of leadership. In August of 2017, she received her Greenbelt in Six Sigma with plans to pursue her Master Blackbelt to assist in lean process improvement in all departments of the hospital. She was then given an opportunity as the Director of Rehabilitation and Cardiopulmonary to open a brand-new joint venture (Texas Health and UTSW) facility in Frisco, Tx in August 2019. In addition, she serves as the program director for the WOW customer service initiative, mentor for the Outcome Promotions committee, serves on Leadership Collaborations Council, Quality Outcomes committee, Utilizations Management Committee, Emergency Management Committee, and the Trauma Performance Committee at Texas Health Hospital of Frisco, Tx.
Her professional interests focus on customer service, lean daily management, mentorship of new leaders, and integration of multidisciplinary comprehensive approach to process improvement.
