In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Hannah Morris

Debate Coach
Hannah Morris is an Academic Advisor and coach of the debate team at the University of Arkansas. Her areas of research involve news media and access to factual information by the general public.

Kanesha Adams

Education Expert
Kanesha Adams is an educator, advocate, and “change agent.” She currently serves as the CEO and Founder of Bearapy and the Lead Consultant at EduScape Education. Kanesha received her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she studied Criminal Justice and Sociology. Upon graduation, Kanesha decided to attend Oklahoma State University as a McNair Scholar where she received her M.S. in Education Psychology. She finished two years with Teach for America and a 2nd master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Arkansas. Kanesha is a self-published children's book author, with her recent title "Sisters Forever" commemorating the relationship of her first best friend, her sister. Sisters Forever is housed on the Bearapy platform along with 150 self-care titles written by self-published authors.

Sarah Bloom

Associate Professor of English
Sarah Bloom, MFA is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She teaches courses in Creative Writing, Minority Writers, and the Bible as Literature.
